When I was at my aunt we put it after we finished eating thanksgiving food on thanksgiving day when I was in Haiti again at my other aunt house ( got to many aunties) we put the Christmas tree on November 1 I use to do it by myself then and I do it my way
In the South, black families. Always put up the Christmas tree on the night of Thanksgiving. Or the day after Thanksgiving. I was trained to take my tree down before New Year’s Day. That’s the Southern way, it’s bad luck to leave the tree up after 12:00!!!
