Is there a discord group or other youtube channels that explain Stacey Burkes concept even better? I have been binge watching all of his videos for over a week and find it hard to fit all of the pieces of information together. This style of trading is very similar to what ICT preaches. All of his videos explain the same thing - How to have a bias before the 12candle window opens.
Stacey Burkes strategy is all about finding the exact point at which Smart Money eats up all of the liquidity on one side before reversing completely to attack the liquidity on the opposite side. This in Stacey's style of explanation - A very fast high RRR trade --- Why settle for small fish when you can hunt the whale.

I don’t even use numbers and levels. The basic understanding of the setups can create an instinctive precision for which trade setup is taking shape. Wait for the High and low to be established. Wait!!!

D1 is always the trapped volume
D2 is the re-test (look for 3 pushes and place your entry, targeting day 2's extreme)

      Mike
      Is day one
always trapped volume above the previous days high or low. Struggling to understand day count been studying but still confused. If your statement is true that would help clear things up for me . thanks

@@michaeljackmack7443 "IF volume is trapped up high, THEN I will wait for the re-test near that area for sells" and "IF volume is trapped below, THEN I will wait for the re-test near that area for buys"
Trapped volume does not necessarily needs to be at the low or high of previous days or weeks. It could also be at session's high or low. That's why Stacey taught us to always draw the highs and lows, the purpose is to determine whether they are trapping longs for short opportunity, or they are trapping shorts for long opportunity.
Always remember that market moves in 3s.
      1. Trapping
      2. Re-test
      3. Moves in intented direction

So I asked for one thing and i get dealt with much more than i asked for. Truly Brilliant I say. Thank you. This method clearly identifies why peak formations exist and also gives me the framework to know what is a Day1 and also how the Day 1 reset is made. It also reinforces in some way the lessons you did when you show trapped volumes above and below numbers within a price ranges. This lesson has to be up one of your greatest. I am also seeing the trapped volumes on the weekly and monthly templates. Would also like you to spend a little bit of time to address things from a larger macro view like weekly and monthly within the framework that you have shown here. THANKS A MILLION.

Hi Sean, what specifically in the video helped you understand the day count and reset days. I am still lost on what day is day one or reset days. Watch everyone of Stacey’s videos and still struggling to get day count
      correct .

@@michaeljackmack7443 watch this video again. Take notes on every sentence. It's all in here. Day 1 is when there is volume trapped under the low (or above the high) or the previous day. Next day is day 2 (looking for 3 pushes if it's an inside day). Next day could be day 3 if there's trapped volume above the high (or below the low) of the day 2. Could also be a peak formation reset.

Stacey - amazing video! Question on day count. Aussie looked to be triggering Day 1 Longs on Wednesday with trapped volume at the lows (below the blue tracer) and a move above prev day high, however, Thursday was an inside day and Friday broke Thursday's low, is this now back to Day 1 short?

  • @danielohio9462
    @danielohio9462 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

So can I just clarify so I finally get this, are we saying that day 1 doesn't have to break the high of the previous day? As long as there is trapped volume below the low of the previous day then that's day 1?

So when you have volume trapped above or below the previous days High or Low you restart the day count ? Is this correct, still confused trying to understand day count .

On Gold, I incorrectly read Europe's peak formation as a Day 3/Level 3 short opportunity. Going into the NY session I shorted, expecting a continuation down.
