- On this adventure we went to Pensacola, FL during the off season. We stayed at the beautiful campground Pensacola Beach RV Resort and toured Fort Pickens Campground. After, reviewing Fort Pickens Campground we visited the beautiful Fort Pickens National Park. It's a must see if your in the area, and if you like history. Thank you for watching, Talmange and I had a blast. On to the next adventure! Our goal is to enjoy life and capture memories.

Cool video, Talmange and Ashanti. Didn't realize you guys towed your boat down to Florida with you. Ft. Pickens Campground seems like a really nice campground, especially for the price. Enjoyed seeing the fort there, too. I remember your video from Pensacola Beach Resort and that was really nice, too. They both have lots to offer. You guys are all about the adventure! ;-)
Hi Bob and Sue it was beautiful! Both campgrounds have so much to offer. We did not take our boat ... when we did the review due to social distancing we did a vlog within a vlog. We intend to camp but COVID happened. So we had to change up to saty safe. WISH we could have driven further into Florida to see you guys...

Hey Adventure Bandits, I am not sure if the thumb up-pinkie up hand gesture is different for RV campers but I have vacationed in Hawaii and the Hawaiians use the thumb up with the pinkie up to represent “Hang Loose”. 🤙🏾

We use the pinkie and thumb gesture for that exact reason to hang loose. That our attitude while camping.

Both places look really nice, but I would probably choose Ft. Pickens. I like the price and all the trees. The Tiki Room seems pretty cool to rent it f you didn't have a camper. Great video. Enjoyed the boat ride.
Thanks Bob and Sue it was a lot of fun to visit and stay. Fort Pickens has great !!! prices and was beautiful! Wish we would have gone further into Florida. One day hope to see y'all! The boat ride was a way to stay safe during the lock-down when in town we will take you out.

Great video. We've been traveling to Fort pickens for more than 30 years between both my wife and I. Now fort pickens has a beautiful boat that travels from the fort to the boardwalk in gulf breeze as well as downtown which makes for an even more awesome time.

@@AdventureBandits1 You're very welcome. It's like 20 per person and discounts for children, students, disabled, and vets. You can get on and off all day from 9 am to 9 pm. Also there are two boats running in tandum so as one is leaving one side, the other is leaving the other. Pick ups around every hour at each port.
There's also a sunset Cruise with cocktails from downtown

We love Pensacola Beach Rv Resort. I recommend the little motel next door for good food , drinks and entertainment. It’s called Paradise Inn. They have live bands on the weekends. They even have a pet section. You can eat with your toes in the sand.
We Uber over to downtown Pensacola and visit the piano bar in the Seville Quarter. It’s so much fun.
We have plans to return to Pensacola Beach. I will definitely be looking into that.

With the national park pass you get free admission to the national park and half price for camping at Ft Pickens campground. Makes it even better for the price.

Great video. When we get out there next year we plan to stay in one place for a while. Maybe a week. So price is important as well as it having clean amenities. I’m surprised you didn’t realize that the party is wherever you two are! 🤣😂

We spent this past winter in Florida but in a more rural area north of Tampa. We will be going back to Florida in 2022 and may plan a stop in Pensacola. Thanks for sharing this info
I have to say that Pensacola Beach has came a long way. The state invested alot of money to make it a tourist attraction. There's alot to do and places to eat. You will love it! Thanks for watching!

Great review guys. We're heading back to Florida in a few months and will try to stay at Ft Pickens. Pensacola looks Good too but kinda pricey lol.
You would love Fort Pickens. The beach is very nice also. During your stay take a trip to Gulf Shores its only a hour away. You would love the view.
Love the boat wish you could tow both at the same time lol but looks like fun. I would go with the RV resort for the action too!
I wish we could tow both boat and RV as well. Having the boat really enhanced our camping trips when we do bring it.

Nice boat! Love Ft. Pickens, we definitely need to go back. That RV resort probably wouldn't allow our truck camper in it since a lot of them don't but we'll have to research it a little and see 😁 We did have plans to go down to the gulf until the pandemic hit but this made me realize we need to plan another trip and go. Thanks for the overview of these campgrounds! Safe travels! She's right about the "rock on" with the last hand symbol, 🤘LOL. ~Carla
Thank you! I wouldn't mind camping at Fort Pickens. I recall seeing a truck camper and a van dweller at RV resort. If you choose to visit the gulf during the summer you shouldn't have a problem getting into a campground being that all the snowbirds are gone. Thanks for watching and commenting.🤙🏾

The fort looks cool. Always difficult getting a spot in those places during the busy times.
We went during the winter month and both of these campgrounds were busy. I totally agree!
I'm not much of a boat person, but the pontoon boat is the boat style I would want if I was. That is the way to roll (float). Your boat looks fantastic. The campgrounds look pretty good. After seeing that big resort with the multiple pool locations in your other video I'm not sure many will compare or meet that level.
Thank you. We just purchased the boat a year ago. We are finally getting some use out of it being that boating is the only recreational activity our state will allow us to do during this pandemic.

Hey Yall..I lil bit more info on Fort Pickins..if you get a spot on the last loop in or near the back sites..You can take a trail to fish and crab on the bayside! Its also a federal park...so I believe you have to go to recreation.gov to make a reservation

Thank you! We had our boat for a year now. This pass winter we had it winterize and wrap. We stored it at a storage nearby.
how far do yall travel with the boat?
We will only travel 2 hours or less.

Question? can you get drunk on water?
We are not supposed to. But everyone that be on the water is drunk. 😅... There actually bars on the water that you can dock at and they will bring you a drink🍸.
But to answer your question no you should not. We have seen some close calls that could have been avoided if that one boater was more respectful and responsible.
