omg this movie is awesome, exellent work, great music choice as well, i also like the gouf better, that thing kicks some serious ass! Although its not only the machine that counts, the pilot also has to be a pretty mean bad-ass killing machine as well, i loved that part where he mercilessly stabbed the tank with the sword and oil ( or was it blood? or both?) spilled all over him! Awesome work.

Norris was originally just trying to take out the Guntanks, and didn't find out that Shiro loved Aina until right before Shiro bashed him with his Gundam's arm (which is why his sword is lowered, because of his surprise at hearing it).

Yeah the lead up to the fight was the zeke's were on their last leg and needed to escape. They were extremely low on supplies and the gouf had been fighting continuously before hand. My only thought would be the energy that should have been used in the sword was used to power the elector shock instead.
So, it's been going on two years since I actually posted this thing, and 57000 views later I finally get around to following up with it. I'm in the process of acquiring some video software that'll let me start editing again. I've got a couple different projects in mind; another 08th MS Team video, as well as a Transformers idea that's been bouncing around in my head for a while. Should have an update soon.

8th MS team was the most realistic of all the gundams, they also made it so that aces weren't all over the place as such when Norris finally made his debut in a gouf custom they let it be known how aces really stand out. 8th ms team was refreshing as the main character wasn't invincible, sure he was a good pilot but still not really a true ace
The only reason Shiro smoked him was cuz a) he had a lapse in sanity when he TORE OFF HIS OWN ARM and started beating on Norris, a move that took him by surprise, b) the clip skipped about 3 min of them whaling on each other, and c) Norris was going for the Guntank and not Shiro, since his mission was to drop all three of them. He succeeded, even though it killed him.
@Manofaction0 if i recal he didnt have one, or he was caught up in the moment of declaring his love for whats her name, that he forgot about it and noticed his arm was useless so lets put it to use ^^
Yes, but an MS-07B from orginal series (1979) was using BOTH heat sword and heat whip (diffrent models than used by B3). So should be ther place for energy pack in sword handle? Whip is connected to generator in MS, but sword not, and laser sword should also have some kind of battery, becouse they are autonomus (the battery should have bigger capacity that tat used in heat weapons).
No. Ez-8 is just a rebuilt Gundam Ground Type. Remember when Shiro tackled the Mobile Armour with it and it basicly got ripped apart? The Mechanics just rebuilt it with random parts and went with that. Kinda like how that other Gundam Ground Type gets a GM Ground Type head.
lol yeah but Heero did fight a army of mobile dolls in a leo but quatra did help him after he was almost killed =) oh and nouing did drop Heero's buster cannon. And shiro didn't fight a gundam in a ball it was a zaku. very very different.
@sonofthewolf2 Gundams gets more badass as they make new ones except for Gundam 00. Gouf Custom is like somewhat unrealistic Gouf turned in to a mobile suit that is slightly more realistic. I like both federation and Zeon. It is cool have they have somewhat uncommon,unique design that is totally different from each other.
ya so do i an most of the epis are hear but the verry last 2 or 3 witch sucks balls becus when toonamie aired them when i was a wee lil lad in middle school back befor 9-11 and all that crap like 2000 or 1999 i saw this anime and all i whanted was my verry own gundom and ever sins iv loved the gundom searies and try to watch it when ever i can. OH and NICI AMV 10 OUT OF 10

Why his heat sword was turned OFF? Lack of energy or some kind of malfunction? If it was turned ON it would slice enemies like hot knife slice butter (literally). If you think that MS-07B3 Gouf Custom is Badass, look for MS-07F Gouf Hunter, made for CQC and Guerrilla warfare. Sieg Zeon!

It's definitely the most "realistic" of all the Gundam series I've seen. There's no mystical Newtypes or whatever the kids are calling them nowadays.

Norris was a really Ace badass. taking on a Fed team alone and generally kicking ass.

Yea Norris is one of the Few Aces they have in this show - unlike 0079 where rather then monster of the week it was Ace of the Week.
Well, the arm would have just gotten in the way aways.
Notice the Gouf isn't using his heat saber? he's just swinging it around. It's not heated up.. if it were the fight would've been over long ago.

On the cheap, I think a prototype Ez-8 is possible for under a hundred mil USD. The biggest hurdle is deciding on a power system.
I have to agree here...but Heero is super Human... Shiro is KRAZY...
Norris had a coustom Gouf. But It looked like he had a heat saber if he had activated it Shiro would have been cut down.

It was basicly a test bed for them to try something different. So it seems like its a prototype.

They weren't prototypes. They were mass produced Ground gundams. Ez-8 was the only prototype.
