So glad I stumbled upon your channel! Despite painting off and on for a couple of years I still feel like a novice to painting. MD2 is an amazing game, though, and I'd love to have the whole set painted so your videos have been quite helpful!
Fantastic TH-cam channel ! Thanks! And at last, great humour in miniature painting videos! Guys like Miniac do this too, but I love your passive-agressive style! Concerning painting, great idea to give the surface %tage that has to be covered by certain layers. Very useful. And the discover of your channel meets perfectly my glazing debuts, so I hope I'll avoid most of the tiny hand slappings I'd have deserved if I was on my own. My MD2 biiig pledge finally arrived (FR version) and has yet to be painted. So your vids will be of great help. Keep it like this, I hope you'll paint many MD2 minis again! (Hug Bear/unicorns? Please!)
Love your videos! they always make me want to take out my MD2 box and start painting (though I'm still finishing up Michael). Will you do the expansions?
Another nice tutorial. I will be employing this sketch and glaze technique painting my next game. Just wondering why you prefer this method to traditional layering? Does it save time? Does it allow for more control of where your highlights end up? Or is this simply just they way you enjoy painting? thank you. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Its basically layering with extra steps. :D Glazing is my "go to" technique for blending and the finish is smoother than only doing layering in my opinion, which I prefer but thats just personal taste. It takes more time but Im not glazing with like a dirty paintwater consistency which would take a 100 layers to make a nice transition . I think its a great technique which give you great control in blending and awesome results.
The rules are simple: 1 - I see a Laborc video on my TH-cam list 2 - I click on it 3 - I press the like button right away 4 - I listen carefully to not get any slaps on my tiny (they are really tiny) hands.
Hello, my 2 questions to you: - do you use any maginfier while painting? - are you a board game fan yourself and these figures are for you or was it only a commission for sb else? Best regards from Poland 😉
Yes, I always use a magnifying lamp when I paint. I like board games but I enjoy the painting more. The mini in this video is one of my patreons because I already painted mine. Im currently finishing up Massive Darkness 1 for a commission you can check it on my instagram if you are interested.
@@laborc8929 I cannot find your instagram unfortunately. Thanks to your video tutorial I finished my copy of Feydra the Rogue and started with the wizard. Too bad I cannot show you any photos of the result to get your honest verdict on it...

Thank you! You can vote on the next MD2 mini on patreon.
The best pj I've seen on her. Any chance for the dragon or other big pieces?
Thank you! The demon dragon had some votes on the last polls on patreon. You can increase the chances by voting on him next time.

Thank you! I would love to do all the minis but depends what my patrons vote on.
Love these videos!
How do you decide whether the prime the mini in grey or black?
Thanks! I almost always use black. I only use lighter primers when I want a contrast paint to be a base layer.
