I have the 2021 Tracker 500S version. Same thing. Its difficult to find videos on the Prowler/Tracker and top speed was of interest to me. I didnt get mine up to 42 mph. Note: I discovered if you have trouble getting it to start when warm/hot, its the starter.turned over just wouldn't fire. Dealers couldn't figure it out. I did. I believe the high amp draw of the starter didnt leave enough amperage to fire the ignition

Not sure what year yours is, mine is a 2015 HDX (3 seater) and I get the same speed. Fast enough for general riding, but cant keep up with my buddy's larger displacement engines.

Was this on the rev limiter? Because I'm pretty sure this kymco sourced motor does have one in every other application it's used in.

No I have never hit the rev limiter .7100 RPM is the highest I have ever got it
