Keep in mind though, when you see a blue Martian sky in some of the footage, it is filtered by NASA to help geologists identify rocks etc under Earth-like light frequencies. The sky on Mars is in reality more pink or salmon colored.
I think it would be best with a small number of people, but spread out a bit so everyone gets some privacy. I bet you would be happiest if you only saw people when you feel like it. I like the absence of man-made stuff and crowds. I bet Mars will be a tourist destination in 100 years. Technology has to get better (and more reliable). You would probably be spending most of your time in tunnels and caves (to avoid radiation), but you could go out for a nice walk in the beautiful landscape whenever you want.
