I’m just now realizing that Matt Stafford was the catalyst of two of the some of the greatest receiving seasons of all time. He definitely has a track record for himself

As a Lions fan I agree. He doesn't really care for talking to the media so he just always gives very cliche answers. I wouldn't say uncomfortable necessarily, I just feel like his real personality came out here as opposed to the cookie cutter BS players say usually.
His answer was actually correct. In a route running system like McVays, Kupp can excel, but one on one on an island, Calvin all day.

Megatron was probably the most skilled receiver of all time. If he played under someone like Brady or Manning, dude would have been the greatest receiver of all time.
Stafford was all he needed. It was truly the coaching and the offense ran that held them both back.
