വിവാഹം ജീവിതത്തിലെ വളരെ മനോഹരമായ ഒരു അനുഭവമാണ്. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ അവരുടെ കഴിവിനനുസരിച്ചു വിവാഹം വളരെ ഭംഗി യായിട്ട് നടത്തും. ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ വധൂവരന്മാരെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുക, അല്ലാതെ കുറ്റവും കുറവും കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുന്നത് എന്തിനാ വെറുതെ ??? നിങ്ങളാരും കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് വല്ലതും അവർക്ക് കൊടുത്തിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ , പിന്നെന്തിനാ ??????
ആർഭാടമായ കല്യാണം നടത്താം എന്നാൽ ആഭരണം അണിയുന്നത് തെറ്റ്??? ആഭരണം ഒഴിച് ബാക്കി എല്ലാ അലങ്കാരങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട് എന്നാൽ ആഭരണം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് തെറ്റ്??? ഞാൻ ഒരു പെന്തക്കോസ്ത് കാരനാണാണ്. ഈ കാര്യം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ചെറുപ്പം മുതലേ ചോദിക്കുന്ന ചോദ്യമാണ്.
കേരളത്തിൽ പെന്തക്കോസ്തിന്റെ തുടക്കം മുതൽ ആഭരണം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നില്ല. കാരണം ആദ്യ നാളുകളിൽ ഇതിലേക്ക് വന്നവർ കൂടുതലും താഴെക്കിടയിൽ പെട്ടവരായിരുന്നു. സ്വന്തമായി ഭൂമിയോ ആഭരണമോ ഇല്ലാത്തവർ. പിന്നീട് പണമുള്ള പലരും ഈ മാർഗത്തിലേക്ക് വരുകയുണ്ടായി. ആ കൂട്ടർ സ്വന്തം വീടും കുടുംബവും എല്ലാം വിട്ടു ദൈവത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഇറങ്ങിയവർ. ഈ രണ്ട് കൂട്ടർക്കിടയിൽ ഉള്ള പ്രത്യക്ഷതയിലുള്ള അന്തരം മാറ്റുവാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണു ഇവർ ആഭരണം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഇവർ മറ്റുള്ളവരിൽ നിന്ന് വേർപെട്ടവരാണെന്നു കാണിക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു ഒരു മാർഗം കൂടിയായി ഇത്. ദൈവത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ എല്ലാവരും തുല്യരാണ് വേർപെട്ട ജീവിതം നയിക്കണം. മറ്റു മതത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വത്യസ്തരാവണം ഇതൊക്കെയായിരുന്നു ഉദ്ദേശം. പക്ഷെ രൂപം കൊണ്ടല്ല പ്രവർത്തികൾ കൊണ്ടാണ് വേർപാട് കാണിക്കേണ്ടതെന്നു ഇക്കൂട്ടർ അത്ര നിർബന്ധം പിടിച്ചില്ല. പതുക്കെ ആഭരണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു ട്രൻഡ് ആയി. പെന്തക്കോസ്റ്റിലേക്ക് വരുന്നവർ അതിൽ ഉള്ളവരെ പോലെ ആഭരണം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. ഇതിനെ ന്യായികരിക്കാൻ ആഭരണം അണിയുന്നത് പാപമാണെന്നു പഠിപ്പിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി. ബൈബിളിലെ ചില വാക്യങ്ങളെ കൂട്ട് പിടിച്ചായിരുന്നു ഇത്. എന്നാൽ ആഭരണം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് തെറ്റ് ആണെന്നോ ശെരിയാണെന്നോ ബൈബിളിൽ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. അതിന് ബൈബിൾ ഒരു പ്രാധാന്യവും നൽകുന്നില്ല.
"വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഞങ്ങൾക്കില്ല " എന്ന് പത്രോസ് പറഞ്ഞത് അന്നത്തെ കാലത്ത് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന പണം വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും കൊണ്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. അവർക്ക് പണം ഇല്ല എന്നാണ് സത്യത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞത്. പിന്നെ " നിങ്ങളുടെ അലങ്കാരം തലമുടി പിന്നുന്നതും പൊന്നണിയുന്നതും വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കുന്നതും ഇങ്ങനെ പുറമെ ഉള്ളതല്ല "(1 പത്രോസ് 3:3) ഇതിൽ മുടി പിന്നരുതെന്നോ പൊന്ന്‌ ധരിക്കരുതെന്നോ വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കരുത് എന്നല്ല മറിച് ഇതിലൊന്നുമല്ല കാര്യം മനസ് നന്നാവുന്നതിലാണ് കാര്യം എന്നാണ് ഈ വാക്യം പറയുന്നത്. ഇനി ഈ വാക്യം ആഭരണം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിന് എതിരാണെന്ന് വാദിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കുന്നതിനു എതിരാണെന്ന് സമ്മതിക്കേണ്ടി വരും.
എന്നാൽ ഇതൊന്നും ഇന്നത്തെ പെന്തക്കോസ്ത്കാർ സമ്മതിക്കില്ല.
സത്യത്തിൽ ദൈവ വചനം ആർഭാടങ്ങൾക്കും ധൂർത്തിനും എതിരാണ് എന്ന് എല്ലാരും മറക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അങ്ങനെ നടക്കുന്നവർ നല്ലവരും ആഭരണം അണിയുന്നവർ പാപികളുമാണെന്ന വെപ്പാണ് ഇന്ന്. ഇതാണ് പെന്തക്കോസ്റ്റിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഇരട്ടത്താപ്പ്. ഈ പാരമ്പര്യം വിട്ട് പച്ചയായ സുവിശേഷത്തിനു ഊന്നൽ കൊടുക്കു.ആരെയും വിധിക്കാൻ നിൽക്കാതെ സ്വന്ത ജീവിതം നന്നാക്കാൻ നോക്കു. എല്ലാവരും അവരവരുടെ പ്രാപ്തിക്കു അനുസരിച് കല്യാണം നടത്തട്ടെ. അതിൽ അഹങ്കരിക്കാതെ ധാരാളിത്തം കാണിക്കാതെ ഇരുന്നാൽ മതി. ഈ കല്യാണത്തിൽ അവരുടെ നിലവാരം അനുസരിച് മാത്രമേ നടന്നിട്ടുള്ളൂ എന്നാണ് എന്റെ പക്ഷം.
എന്നാൽ ആഭരണം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു പെന്തക്കോസ്ത് ജീവിതം നയിക്കാൻ തടസമല്ല എന്ന് പറയാനാണ് ഞാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത്.
ഇതിൽ മറ്റൊരു കാര്യം ദൈവം നമുക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഒരുക്കുന്ന ഭവനം 12 വ്യത്യസ്ത രത്ന കല്ലുകൾ കൊണ്ട് അലങ്കരിച്ചതും തങ്കം കൊണ്ടുള്ള വഴിയും ഉള്ളതാണെന്നതാണ് ഏറ്റവും പ്രസക്തമായത്.

I have seen a few of these videos and have always wondered why they all had English songs for background music. Is it because there are no suitable Malayalam songs? Don’t get me wrong... I loved the English song. Just curious.... that is all.
It is also great to see that the boy and girl were not bashful for the camera. That will serve them well in life.

Okay people, where in the Bible does it say you cannot wear gold? Or spend money on a nice house, car, on your family, etc? God wants us to tithe and to give to the poor/widows/orphans and there is Scripture to support that. If we give to charity and tithe, then what's wrong with having a nice wedding with ornaments and silk saris? God doesn't like selfishness, hypocrisy, or when you add to His perfect Word. Where does he say wearing gold and having a nice house and clothes are sinful? Show me the verse.
