Just ordered one for $179. Going basic entry level stuff to figure out what I like. I’m newer to lifting weights, been going for 4 months now. Been buying basic and used stuff as I come across great prices. This will be my most expensive purchase so far, but I’ve gotten some crazy good buys. Early on I bought a used Bowflex Xtreme SE for $50 and have been using that as a cable machine. Turns out I like cable work but the Bowflex resistance/tension feels different and not as good as free weights. I appreciate your review it helped me make the decision to take action on the November sales prices.
I think the Titan rack has a square glide in the back. I personally prefer two circle poles over the single square. I also liked that the double towers with this rack came with a pull up bar included. Not sure if Titans does.
I just finished assembling mine. Mounting brackets are part of the tower. You just need to drill the bolts onto a stud. If you have a drill and a 17mm (11/16) wrench socket, it’ll speed up the assembly.
I dont have the chain connected to the at the bottom. We took them and used them for doing some exercises instead. If I put the short chains back on the weights will go all the way down.
I think the Bells of Steel towers are a better option. The hole spacing is better and the versatility of using it as a half rack is significant. Bells also has a full suite of attachments and the option for aluminum pulleys.

was the mounting hardware included? and what tools did you need to use to assemble it?
What is the tube dimensions ? Is it 2x2" with 1" holes ?
I just bought one of these. Now I see I need two! Can you provide a link for the 6' bar you are using? Thanks for the review.
Very good review. I just bought one. Wish I had 2 but my kids are in college. 😂
Great review looks not too shabby handy for a small set up
Thanks. For the price it's probably one of the better options I've used. For a home gym on a budget, its a solid pick.
Looking at this one and titan fitness model, which do you think is better ? They seem basically the same design

A potential compromise for that flys issue would be to perform them with one arm at a time so that you can find a better angle...
That would be a good option!
Are they the G3? Really 11 gauge steel?

So when is the cable workout coming?
I wonder how many people actually have cable towers?
@@ACHVPEAK I think more people are starting to have home gyms, but I can not back this up with numbers, just my personal experience.
How did you put the pull up bar on it?
why do the weightholder doesn't touch the shockpads ?

I like the BoS towers as well. I like that they can have a back upright as well so they can be attached to a rack or storage option.
