So happy to get to live vicariously through your updates. This is the first year that I have been up to date on them as they come out!! Unfortunately I can't make it to GenCon this year, paving our driveway finally instead.

My husband and I have only attended one Gen Con. It’s a bit too far for us. We usually attend Origins, but haven’t since 2019. The thing my fella most enjoys about Gen Con is the auction. I understand it has a new location this year. If you have time to poke your head in, we’d sure like to see the auction in its new home. It could be the push we need to get us back for our second Gen Con. 😉
I attend conventions primarily to play RPGs. Those private rooms in the stadium you mentioned in a precious video are exciting news. I hope that goes well and takes off. It can be really hard to get into an RPG when you’re in a crowded space with multiple other games going on all around. It’s difficult to hear the GM and maintain the proper tone. I might be willing to spend a little extra on an event ticket for a game in a skybox and I’m sure others feel the same way.
I’ll definitely check on the auction for you. It’s in the Marriot this year!

@@NellysNerdyAdventures We’re in Pennsylvania. We do not fly, so Gen Con makes for a LOOONG drive.

I also enjoy the comics and keep up with the various X books as they appear on Marvel Unlimited.
I won't be at the physical show this year, but I will be playing in the D&D Adventurer's League via GenCon Online. Hopefully, I'll get to the show next year.

There is a game store at Meridian and Georgia Streets called Good Games that is realty nice too
