17:50 nah, you cannot stop there, was a legit goal. Nice game to watch.

I think, if I understand correctly, that Björn (goalie left) complains that Kane (goalie right) was talking to Kevin (stiker right), calling it a distraction and let goes of the bars. But right on that moment Kevin is in the middle of his attack. So it's bad timing on the part of Björn to complain. And I don't think he has much of a strong case anyway. A warning after the shot might have been appropiate, but cannot hear what was actually being said.

      @@rogierburlage This is correct.
Kane said something to Kevin. Not illegal by itself. Kevin waited the required one second and then shot, but Björn simultaneously stopped play.
It was an honest mistake, but a mistake nonetheless. Goal is good according to the rules.

Clay and/or Adam, would you be able to add the match local time to the info bar for future events? I think it would help understand the "mechanics" displayed by these players. How late was it that Tony was shooting pull-kicks, Kane was giving the ball over, or Kevin's long looked human (instead of super-human)?

This match was in the middle of the afternoon. Tony had been shooting a pull-kick throughout the weekend regardless. Kevin and Kane had just come off a long and difficult match vs Tommy Yore and Ryan Moore.
To answer your question, technically the answer is yes we could add the local time for each match, but that's quite a bit more effort than makes sense at the moment given the amount of matches we still have from Vegas.
Thanks for the idea though! Perhaps something we can pay attention to at future tournaments so that it's super easy to add here in the details after the fact.

They will blame the championship format, where there is little to play for in the elimination bracket.

Funny how those same people who say there's nothing to play for still show up and try to win though. Not a single one of them forfeited on the elim side.

@@HelloIamClaylol you think this dog shit Foosball is any better?
This format is awful, for the players and the fans.
It's literally made against Tony, cause he's too hard to beat twice a tourney, that's why Ryan made the format. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out

@@BillyPaPz Do I think it's any better than what? Are you talking about this match in particular or just the format in general? I can't see the original comment you're replying to I guess.
Either way, I personally don't like double elimination, but I also wouldn't really care if they brought it back. I don't care as much about the format as I do just getting to watch good players trying to win and that happens on both sides of the bracket no matter the format.
I definitely don't think championship format is the best format, but I do think double elimination is worse than pretty much everything but a straight round robin or Swiss or some other shit where there's no final.
At the end of the day, I just like watching entertaining foosball. I don't see what the fuss is about.
