Im going to be honest here, I've always wanted to not hide my characters hands behind their back or have my anatomy not look like a 3 year old drew it (refering to your other video) and all the tutorials are so hard for me to follow but all your tutorials are so easy to understand and follow and I just want to thank you for the detailed but easy to follow tutorials

I've been wanting to try getting back into drawing sometime this year (I had to take a break from drawing this year because of things going on in my life) and I want to dedicate time to improving and learning anatomy and such and I was just thinking yesterday what resources there are to learn how to draw hands and I just saw that you uploaded this today! Sometimes, when waiting for something I'll study myself. I was waiting for an appointment and in the mirror I studied my eyebrow movement and the way my skin wrinkles to certain expressions. Also studied my hands once. As weird as it sounds, it's actually REALLY helpful to my art and anatomy

Another tip for people(which I do), if you aren't carrying an inspiration of hands with you, take a picture of your own hand with the gesture you want it to be and trace it. Add some adjustments if your hand doesn't fit the person's body(aka, if your hand is chubby but the character is slim, adjust the hand to make it look slim. Or, ask someone who has slim hands and take a picture of their)
Well my hands are very mis shaped cause when I was born they were stuck together so I don’t like using my hands

dam your tutorials really help me, its not like the other tutorials that overcomplicate stuff, its simple and leaves space for you to apply the tips on your own style, no joke i learned to draw human figures better in less than a month, still not perfect but better than before

There are thease type of wooden hand moddles which you can move the fingers (recommended if you cant look at another device for looking at a hand or if you dont want to or cant use your own hand)

I remember when i first tried drawing hands, i made a silhouette of the hand and then drew over it. It was easier.
But now i use a method pretty simular to this🤡

Once I learn how to draw hands, it’s all over for you guys
My main oc unironically has big, long, poofy sleeves so that you never see her hands… but even when she does show them she has these creepy 3 fingered monster hands, accidentally ended up making it so I never had to draw them- still need to for other characters but I just found that funny
My characters on longer have to hide their hands😭 thank you so much!
