Actually, the right translation of shahada is " I bear witness that there is no God WORTHY OF WORSHIP except Allah, and Muhammad is the last messenger" Cause there are many gods, in which people believe, like Budda, or christians believe that prophet isa(peace be upon him) is god, however they are unworthy to worship. Only Allah is the God, who is worthy to worship. I've read that it's the full translation of shahada

Lastly u said about Muhammad (pbuh) marrying a six year old. The daughter of his beloved companion enjoyed a high status in the Prophet's heart in turn. The prophet was once asked by his companions about the most beloved person to him so he answered readily "Aisha" so they said "and from men?" and he replied "her father (Abu Bakr)".
The marriage of Prophet Muhammad to lady 'Aisha was based on a divine command as lady 'Aisha narrated that angel Gabriel came to Prophet Muhammad carrying a green silk cloth with her image on it and said "this is your wife in this world and in the hereafter" narrated by al Tirmidhi.
Aisha wanted to get marry to the prophet she had a high status in the prophets heart. Prophet Muhammad married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. She reached puberty at the time.
