    Great review and description of all the skill shots and achievements in this game. I like the upgrade suggestions for Stern too. It was a really fun game to play for sure!

    Very cool! Not sure if I'd call it a bucket list item, but having a few select pinball and arcade games at home has always been one of those things I've wanted to do.

    I do love my JP home Pin, however the build quality on mine was very poor. The bolts that hold the brace for the legs are crooked, and one of them was screwed through the left flipper wire, which was making it short out all the time. Also the speaker grille where there's no speaker has a flap of cardboard or something that's curled down, so the light from the backbox is shining out through the grille. Some of the playfield plastics are warped too. And I agree, the light-show is a letdown, even the Star Wars home Pin had a proper light show, this one reminds me of a cheap, plastic pinball toy. Still, I love it. The problems with mine can be fixed, and the light show could be fixed with an update if they ever release one. It's a real shame all the home Pins have been cancelled now, I hope they get a last-minute flood of orders.

      Ya Cammy that really sucks. Talk to your distributor about it. Mine had the light bleed though too. It is a fun machine. I am let down becuase I was told we were getting insider connected on these. Guess that is not happening now. Stern should have stuck with this idea. And refined it. And I think there is nothing wrong with the shots. And if they added deeper code. The tables would slay.

    Amazing review! I’ve been looking into getting a Pinball machine (for the first time) I haven’t play for a long long time, probably this weekend Im visiting a place near home (an hour away) to play for a couple of hours and calm a bit my desire of just buying one outright.
    I was looking for a “full size” “older” pinball machine when I saw this on their website. On your opinion, do you think that buying an older pinball on the same price range of this home edition will be a better option? Or the Home Edition it’s as good as the others? All things considered, like machine size, playfield size, features, appealing and construction materials overall.

      Sorry took so long to respond. I missed this. So for home use this is a good machine. Especially if its kept in a climate controlled area. But if its in a drafty basement. I might think twice with the MDF. Its will last awhile but is still able to absorb moisture over time. If there is another pin you also like in the same price range. And in good working order. Why not. Just keep in mind it does have years or wear. And issues may come up more often. But maybe not too. Best advice I can give is if you rather have new. Knowing you can get replacement parts. Or get something older that may be built a little better. But may have hard time finding older parts if you need them

    Very nice review. What are the measurements of the display screen?

    • @cascadepinball
      @cascadepinball  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      7 inches. But they make the font bigger to make up the smaller size. So seeing the score is never an issue.

    These things are a work of art, even just the look and the colored lights. I'd love to be able to spend that much cash on one of those but I just can't at this point in my life. Maybe when I'm like 50 and living in my retirement house.😂

      Ya I find that its been fun owning them. But I have a slightly different perspective on ownership of these now from when I shot this video. For an idea what I mean. Check out my Pulp Fiction video.

    Stern needs to stay away from "home pins" major letdown and abond ship everytime they try it.
