- Click to Subscribe! ► bit.ly/JOovvU - It's a great day for some RC Truck Mud Action! "Frankenstein" and the "Monster Mud-Stang" are finally out, and just in time! John and I wanted to make this film a bit longer for the viewer, to include you in an "up close" look at each truck at the end of the film. His truck "Frankenstein" is a powerful brushless system, and nice wide Wraith Axles, mounted with custom built tires. We touch on how to make these tires in the film. A full tutorial is forthcoming.
My Monster Mud-stang is an upgraded Axial SCX10 Honcho, a re-build of y truck known as "The BEAST". This is the 6th FULL transformation of my truck in the last 6 years. It has dual 35t brushed Tekin motors, that are powered by an RX8 1/8th scale esc. My tires are RC4WD 2.2 Mud Basher Tractor tires mounted on Carbon Fibre bead lock rims. I use them because they are very light weight. With the extra weight of the mud.. things start to even out.

mud is the perfect fun location for rc cars.. but only until it is time to clean..
Oh yeah bud! It was a lot of fun.. and definately a chore to clean up. Not too bad though.. as we just dipped them in the water canal and swished it around a bit.. Worked great! A quick trip up to the shop and used the compressor to dry them both. A shot of CowRC silicone spray.. and away the trucks sit!

I'd love to bogg with you guys if you were closer. Down here in Florida, the MUD is DEEP and you'd get a real feel for what your truck can do.

I have a slash that i converted into a crawler but i had a castle sidewinder 3 in it and its more of a monster truck and those trucks you guys have remind me of how much fun they are to drive

james Dishman Man it is addictive. Rc sparks studio gave me the inspiration to pull the trigger and get the scx10 Honcho and I Love That Rig! So come along with us, get out and have fun with friends or family or both. It is a great stress relief for me.
Rick Hartman same here dude. I grew up on radio shack and toys r us RC, and watching his videos convinced me to go out and buy a Traxxas slash as my first hobby grade. Fast forward about a year, and now I also have an Arrma Granite, a 1:24 scale ECX Ruckus, and an ECX Outburst motorcycle. it's definitely addictive. :)

i had made a lift kit for my scx 10 and put on stock wraith wheels and tires on it i was having a problem with my tires hitting the springs too and it would get hung up some time so i fixed my problem by putting on 20mm wheel spacers worked perfect and gave my truck a wider stance i love it works great till i can get some wraith axles

RC brings out the inner child in many adults and can be enjoyable for many kids at the same time. A hobby for people of all ages, that is one of the many things that makes RC special.

Ben Fink definitely. I'm 32, my nephew is only 8, but we both have a blast doing jumps and donuts in my driveway when he comes over. I guess I'm just an overgrown kid with a huge allowance now.

they are so narrow it must get annoying to keep keep picking it up you need to get some hub extenders and put some skill saw blades on for wheels
Great video, that truck with the emaxx tires looks so nice perform very well on the mud. I think that it will look more real going more slowly and with the brush system installed, great truck nice job. Medic this time i have to say that mustang Naaaaaa :-) but like always good job on this video bro.

Hey Medic! I want to share a little trick I used when i used to race stadium trucks in texas with that sticky texas clay. soak your tires down with wd40 before you go mudding and it wont stick to the tires as easily.

Do a chain gang connect a cable to one truck and have one truck pull u in deep monster mud
I think it needs to be towed out a little bit it looks like that's part of the problem it cuts into fast on itself like drifting a little toe out couldn't hurt

Fla. RC how, the emaxx tires are 14mm hex and the axles are 12mm hex. And 14 mm hex hubs wont fit on the axles bcuz the inner diameter hole is too big!
