- From Fall 1993, a behind-the-scenes special going behind the scenes at pretty much every game show in production that fall. Price is Right, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Caesar's Challenge, Trivial Pursuit, Family Feud, and American Gladiators are all featured with personnel from various shows interviewed
Passing the test for “Jeopardy!” is not easy.
I'd be *scared to DEATH.*
For most of the behind the scenes clips with TPIR, it’s from the Oct 8, 1993 episode (8915D)
I was sad to see Pat Sajak leave The Wheel of Fortune after 41 years. But I'm still crushing on Vanna White, who continues to look fabulous.
Rest in peace, Alex Trebek. You were a game show legend and will be greatly missed.
Great video thanks
I would like to see concentration back on. I think I was in elementary school when it was on, fifty something years ago.
Anyone remember owning the Wheel Of Fortune gameboard that u only tried playing once before it became a dust collector?
Vanna looks beautiful back in the day. I miss Alex, one of the beloved game show hosts ever.
The first TV game show question seems to still be up for debate. Some sources say its ‘Missus’ Goes A Shopping’ which debuted in August of 1944. It’s A Gift debuted January of 1946, but E! claims it was the first. But some sources have said Cash and Carry hosted by Dennis James was seen by many to be the first actual television game show in June of 1946.
During the 80s for Wheel of Fortune, if the show did not pause for a commercial break, how long did it take to change all of the letters on the puzzle board? I have seen a few 1980s episodes, where there was a 30-second prize announcement, changed/added a wedge on the wheel and changed the puzzle. Must be a lot of editing.
@16:08, so that's who Glenn Kagan was the guy Johnny Gilbert goofed on when introing Alex trebek
RIP Bob Barker from The Price is Right. You were a game show legend and will be greatly missed.
@1:52, who's that on wheel of fortune? I didn't know there was another WOF hist in nighttime.
there wasn't. jimmy connors tried out for the daytime show but they went with benirschke. that clip is from late 1988
@@CeramicDalmatian
"benirschke"?
@@CeramicDalmatian I thought it was a PM show, cause if you noticed the wheel, it had the R1 layout with the $1000 space.
sorry for the confusion
@27:06, that's the daytime WOF
Hope Merv Griffin never divorced that wife, bcuz that Jeopardy interview would doom him!
What do Bob Barker, Alex Trebek & Luke Perry all have in common?😕
All have passed.
