Great video, as someone who lives in the UK I thought a few additional things may help, firstly you missed the biggest phone carrier which is EE, they have the best coverage nationally and often the best deals. I must say I have not heard of the bank you used, but I would suggest that if someone is coming over as a student, they check the big banks, as most have special deals for students, for example a free student rail card (which gives you a third off all rail travel) or a free overdraft. Most of the big banks have some sort of deal to attract students, one caveat check them out, but wait until you get here to open it as if you open them from overseas you will possible incur charges and probably not receive the benefits, the best of luck with the studies.
A lot of the brands you can't find here in the UK are either a result of their products being banned, heavily regulated or sold in the UK as a different brand. Maybe try some UK brands? They are bound to better than some of those crappy USA brands (I am South American). If you need advice let me know as I lived in the UK since I was 10 and I know what its like when when you change cultures. Most of my family when they come from South America they also find it difficult at first but then they find stuff that works for them. UK brands can be better than what you get in our countries since they are better regulated.
