You need to set out mouse bate boxes to eliminate any mouse that are in the garage. Tomcat has a prebated box on the market that keep dogs and cats safe but allow mice into feed. Could even put one under the seat of any car. Clorox makes a urine remover spray it is bleach free. it works well. Spray it in the duct.

Mouse Trap Monday's agree, peppermint oil is about the only thing that works to repel mice. A bucket with a tipping trap is my go to inside the garage. Average 15-20 per year. I leave them alone outside, but inside the perimeter of my garage all bets are off.

How do they get up into your car to begin with? Do they climb tires?

Probably the same way they get in our coaches. I do cover the car so maybe they climb that. Remember they were in my driver's side mirror. The little bas... Can get anywhere.
