Fixing a Loose and Rattling R129 SL500 and ML320 Shift Lever - Not a Piece of Cake

I just finished replacing these inexpensive bushings in an R129 500SL and a 2003 ML320. The 1996 to 2006 bushings are not the same and are not even attached to the same location form chassis to chassis. Should be a "piece of cake" right???
