Ha ha, he is very cute and such a good boy on the whole too. The ice cream was gorgeous. That was my 4th scoop lol. I have a thing for ice cream, it's one of my favourite things to eat.😊🍦
Wow,what a beautiful ship that was , and you did well to get the ferry to Cumbrae it looks such a lovely peaceful tranquil place . Wolfie seems really laid back and enjoying your adventures,he’s such a lovely fella . Thank you for taking me on your journey, you take me out of my lonely world. Take care Helen and Wolfie. Byyyyeeee🚐👍
Aw Eric, that's a lovely thing to say and you are always most welcome.🥰 Wolfie is a lovely boy. He's got his mental quirks like Nook, but he's also very placid. He also likes to constantly dive into the undergrowth and he caught a mouse on Cumbrae. I shouted at him to drop it and he did, and it scurried off with no harm done. I really enjoyed Cumbrae and was sad to leave.
Aw, thanks Mark. Can't believe that's nearly 3 years ago and lovely Nookie Monster starring in them too lol. Glad you're enjoying them and hopefully they'll give you some places to visit or overnight.
Thanks both. Where are you going to see the Red Kites? Bwlch Nant Yr Arian on the A44, or the one by Rhayader? Or somewhere completely different lol. There's one in Llanddeusant in south Wales too. Went there donkeys years ago.
@@roaminginraymond the one on the A44, we will try and take in devils bridge falls if all goes to plan 😃 you twos videos give us such amazing inspiration to get out and travel 😍
@DKVanLife aw thanks.😊 That place.on the A44 has amazing scenery. Devil's Bridge is nice. There's quite a big car park at the train station which might be better for parking. Have a mooch on Google Earth and see. We've not been there for a while and can't remember where we parked.
Ha ha, thanks Mark. Someone said the boat belonged to the Amazon dude, but it doesn't, it belongs to some American billionaire and is called Eos I think. Found a post about it being off the coast of Largs, Arran and Cumbrae at the time that I was there. Cumbrae is lovely. I think you and Milena and Charlie would really enjoy it.
It certainly did dry quickly on the sun and wind. It was a perfect wash day! I loved it on Great Cumbrae Louise. I'd have stayed even longer if I could have. It had a lovely, relaxed feel about it.
It’s terrible of me, but I hadn’t heard of Great Cumbrae before. Thank you for introducing it. It did look peaceful when you were sitting on the bench with Wolfie by your side. X
@louisesymonds9963 probably quite a few who haven't heard of it. £9.20 one way and less than 10 minutes journey. I'd go back again for certain, I really liked it there.
One night is more than I have spent in Largs. LOL. Great Cumbrae is on our list for when Lindsay retires. They sounded like Buzzards (Tourist Eagles). Parma Violet ice cream sounds lovely.
They sounded like buzzards to me, too. I spent five nights there and was really sad to leave. If I'd have had more time, I'd have stayed longer. The ice cream was amazing. I had 4 scoops 😂
That cake looked yum, lovely island Helen and great shots as always, we have been wildcamping for eight days now and finally realised what we have been missing, spent last night at Mull of Galloway lighthouse during a nasty storm, loved it but got no sleep lol, today port Logan area, take care you 3 safe travels 👍👊🥰🚌🏴
I love Mull of Galloway. I was at a campsite in Wales and it was really bad wind so must have been what you had. It was rocking my little van and some of the tents left in the night. Enjoy the wild camping. You can do your loo and water at New England Bay if you need it. It's the opposite side of Port Logan.
@@roaminginraymond lol funny you should say that we are at New England bay now, having a chat with some other vanlifers, and got some good tips, enjoy wales 🙏👊👍🥰🏴🚌
Bloody midges! We used smidge once, then it rained soon after and it all dribbled in our eyes. It wasn't pleasant!!!!😂 Can't beat a bit of cake for breakfast!!!! 😊 Glad you found the Croc!!🐊 Awwwww! Look at him 🐕 Love the smell of parma violets. Never tasted it though.🙂 Byyyyyyyeeeeee!🥰
Smidge is good but not when it gets in your eyes. I had bad eyes for three days. Yep, can't beat cake for breakfast lol. I had 4 slices of that cake when I was there! I went and had some before getting on the ferry 😂😂😂 The ice cream was amazing too. I had 4 scoops of different flavours 😁
I have no idea how i missed this! Think it was just before i flew away on holiday! I could just eat that cake in 2 gob fulls 😆 🤣 nice cuppa cha.. nice spot at end. Oooh palma violet nice!
Lovely film of Great Cumbrae Helen. Peaceful by the looks of it. Socks on wipers! Thats new 😂 Im going to say they were Red Kites 😅 I think Julie said 'Crocodile Rock', 'cos she mentioned an Elton John song in the game we played 😅. Top banana 😂
They were buzzards for certain, red kite sound different. My socks dried lovely, I'll have you know 😂 It was peaceful and a friendly place too. I even had an old man in Millport ask me if I'd slept well and then stopped for a natter. It got super busy with walkers and cyclists at the weekend, but I just stayed put and watched them all go by. I thoroughly enjoyed it there and would gladly go again.
Helen last week I put Larg on my list now it’s on the ‘only visit out of season list’ 😂😂😂😂 Great shots as ever your an expert at the human gimble steady shots - something we need to improve on the next trip Hope your both well
Yes, definitely an out of season place, but it's good that you can overnight there for free. Thanks for the kind words. It's harder with Wolfie in tow though. He'll decide he wants a sniff of something and pulls me lol.
Wow, I didn't know that. It's a beauty cos the style is like a proper ship but modern, and it gives it real character. I'd spotted it a few times over the last couple of days there.

Another beautiful island. Thanks for sharing. Stay well and safe travels. All the very best. 👍🐾🚐🐾😎
Thanks very much Rob. Yes, a very lovely island with just the one town, friendly people and gorgeous views. Cheap to get to, too.
Cake for breakfast.👍
(I dry my pants on the inside, on the dashboard, under the windscreen glass, they dry super quick ).🩳
Yeah, I dry stuff there too lol. I know, cake for breakfast. But then if I'd have had breakfast amd then the cake, it would have been more calories.😁😂
Lovely video Helen!
Thank you Mary. I had a lovely time.
As always, absolutely beautiful 😊 you make everywhere so appealing! We are off to see the red kites next week 🥰
