- In today's reaction video, I am listening to Everybody's Fool by Evanescence for the first time. I am trying to find a song that beats Call Me When You're Sober but right now, that is still my favourite Evanescence song among their many hits.

Amy is a poetic artist who has very deep lyrics and metaphoric language. Her lyrics are just as important as noticing the music or the beauty in her voice. She is trying to show that the industry just sells a brand with the artists and the true people who make up the artists go unnoticed. This is a dig at the industry which should have the listeners attention to the message she is trying to convey not just jamming to the music and missing everything said by her. It's amazing how oblivious people are to her message.
In the end she really cries, she remembered bad things from the past.

It's a good analysis of the music. Yes, Amy Lee has an extraordinary voice. Usually, I appreciate your reactions, however, I would sincerely like to know your impression and your opinion regarding the lyrics of this song and the message that Amy wanted to tell us. This song is so interesting and not just from a musical point of view.

Why does nobody ever talk about lyrics? Seems like nobody ever cares about what a song is about. Would have loved to hear thoughts on the meaning of the song.
It's a good point and I try to pick out a line here and there but it's hard to listen to every word. Takes a few listens to catch certain lyrics
you might have to dig a little deeper into the pre wind up catalog.. Lies, either version of Where Will You Go, Anything For You (recorded in the Fallen session I believe, but didnt fit the vibe of the rest of the album).. or, the ultimate Amy and a Piano song.. Exodus
