Delirious!!! To fix the gun not shooting issue, switch R2 to R1 in the game controller settings. You will get used to the changes easily.
The actual reason your gun is not shooting is because gta 5 shooting sensitivity is so stupidly low, so if you have a controller that you used for a month, shooting with R2 will stop working in gta 5.
