A few things of note!
I only used god console for infinite carry weight and to advance the day so I didn't have to build at night as much lol.
I did NOT use god console to spawn in any resources. I hate spawning stuff in as it ruins the game for me

Wouldn’t recommend your new base location... Overall alphas, rexes and other hostile dinos spawn near the border of the snow biome (which is where your base at). GOODLUCK!!!

I checked it out and found the source. It looks like she only used some elements from it. Hers is different and more unique than the tutorials.
I was on google images looking at houses in ark to get an idea lol. I didn't copy anything tho, at least not to my knowledge

No I didnt use god mode, I grind all the resources normally with the dodic and beaver. The behemoth gate wall was a real pain though

Good spot actually but if anyone else is gonna move there make sure you have high level dinos just in case you're base gets attacked by high level wild dinos

I got frustrated when building the starting thatch base and how did you manage this?
You can use fence foundation to snap in Dino gates btw. Be careful there. That area is pretty dangerous.

sofiadino :3 rexes spawn there. It’s a common spawn point for alphas. Plus argies can fly in and attack your base if you don’t have turrets or plant x
