- We are back in the classroom and putting things together. Here is footage from my first two days setting up my kinder classroom.

Can you stack the extra desk and put them in your storage rooms? That will free up some precious floor space for the kiddos to work and play on the floor during center and or indoor recess when it rains!
That's a great point! I am considering this too. Will have to see how much space that will take and if I'll be able to access the items on the shelves.
If the students are taking out the draws for morning tubs every morning that is a lot of wear and tear on your draw system not to mention the spills of the materials . You might want to try finding smaller storage containers to go in the draws or the large zip bags on Amazon to hold the material . Or perhaps you put it on the tables for them ? .Also maybe taking some out of the bin. In my experience when they have a lot of materials they misuse them . The bins are a wonderful idea but with littles you have to plan for possible disasters lol.
Thank you for the feedback. As for the wear and tear, I've used a similar system with centers before and it worked well then (obviously with supervision). I do think smaller containers within the drawers could work with some and definitely like the idea of taking some out to prevent spills. Thank you!
