Welcome to Bali, Bali is last island in Indonesia still embracing their own version of hinduism meaning it's over a millenia to this date, not something you easily found anywhere else in the world, that's the main thing that made Bali is the most visited out of 17,508 islands of Indonesia. Best beaches in Bali is those in Uluwatu, white sand, Biggest waves in entire southeast Asia which only Mentawais & Nias of Indo will give it a competition. Try to visit Nusas and Gili islands near Bali, it's all white sand beaches there, there you will find most famous beach of them all, Kelingking beach, but it's crowded. The thing about Bali is it has it all: Culture, Cultural sites, Temples, Volcanoes, Lakes, Waterfalls, Beaches including the white sand beaches of Uluwatu and Nusa Dua, rice terraces, most consistent and biggest waves in region you should see when Bombie Uluwatu Firing it's could hit 25ft tall in it's heyday, and on golden hour it's truly is a sight to behold, nowehere in southeast Asia has the same setting like uluwatu cliff+big waves+sunset. You should try at least once, hear the talks about swells around you and go to uluwatu asap, then you will get to know one of the reason why Bali is so famous, for white sand beaches it's everywhere here in Indo, close to my place there's Belitung island with perfect white sand beaches everywhere with big granite boulders, but yeah no amazing waves like Bali.
