You can get the Torin 6 at Sierra brick-and-mortar stores now for 60 bucks until they run out. I just picked one last week. This is my first 0-drop shoe. Liking it so far. But there is a steep learning curve for the better I hope.
How has the foam held up for you since this video was posted? My 6's always felt a little flat and i have had issues with altra foam breaking down on me in the past specifically the Lone peak like, but i don't know if they use the same foam in them. My 6's ride a little firm for my taste even at low mileage. Sounds like the 7's are a little softer ride? thank you for the comprehensive review.
The 7's are a slightly softer ride and a better quality foam compared to the 6... That said, I can't speak to the long-term durability as I haven't had a chance to put many more miles in these shoes since this video given that I have had many other shoes to review. Thanks for your interest, follow-up, and for checking out the video!
It seems like a slick shoe and I'm looking forward to putting some miles in it! I know it seems weird to think of Altra making non-zero drop shoes but from a marking perspective it makes sense that they would do this to try and capitalize on sales from users less interested in zero drop shoes. As always, thanks for watching and appreciate your continued support!
I'm thinking of buying one. How is it look after a couple of miles? Also: What's your thought in terms of size? Is it similar to other Altras? I have a Via Olympus and hope that the Torin 7 will be the same size.
That's an old Salomon quarter zip that is no longer available. It's a great piece of kit though! The closest thing that they have now is the "essential lightwarm" midlayer.

Feet First Athletics has a 700 mile review on Torin 7.
An altar with a 4mm drop??!! Looking forward to that video, as well

Same size with their standard fit instead of their original fit (like in the Via).
Hey! Nice videos, I was wondering what's your jacket? Thank you!

@@SeeChadRun Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it :)
Hello,
did you go half a size up in these?
I had to in the FWD experience due to my toe hitting the end.
I didn't but they do fit the same as the Experience lineup.
