One of my favorites from childhood. I built it in grade school and turned it into an egg car for science class in high school. It didn't perform very well but got the best looking award.🤓👍

Nice kit review, like the upholstery felt included for the interior. Always appreciated Monogram for their vast array of kits from planes, armor to these historic classsic cars.😊
Hi Rich, I have had this kit in my stash for many years, it is fantastic. Just a quick note, the chrome part you refer to as the air filter is actually a supercharger. Regards Hans
My dad has a real 58 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop Black with White and Red interior. 57 and 58 Ford's share a lot of the same parts. Chassis will fit from a 57 to a 58 same dimensions. Many guys will take a 58 Ford hood with the factory hood scoop and put it on a 57 Ford .

I've got the Revell kit in the stash but can't decide what color to paint it.
I’ve always tried to paint them period correct.
But I also build mostly stock versions of models. Have a great day 👍
