With these heavy carts, towed BEHIND the drill, is there a significant difference in emergence/development of the crop between the wheel-tracked areas and the rest? On very dry sandy soil I can clearly see where the heavy tractors have packed and the rest.
You will often see tracks in the heavy clay in wet years but the tow-behind cart is the preferred setup as compared to the tow-between. This way there are only the tractor tracks to contend with for the air drill/seeder.
