219 euro's here in the Netherlands, when i bought it.
The 54 is at that same price point, now.
Certainly a contender for my next phone.

Your reviews are on point but I'm disappointed that this phone has g35 I was hoping for better because. I'm currently using a Redmi 9A and considering upgrading to a oppo A16s and I've already watched your A16s review ..

@@conorphoto with our taxes and import duties these end up being anything from 10 to 50 USD or more than the rest of the world by the time they ready for our market . This A16s is around 220 USD here .

Just bought one of these as my iphone 5s has given up the ghost as I'm unable to charge it at all - mind you it did last 8 years though which wasn't bad going.
I need help. I have this phone and everything is pretty good...
.. EXCEPT that I can't watch any video that is 1080p quality or above without it stuttering. Whenever i switch to 1080p or above on TH-cam or Twitch, the videos start to stutter, like playing PUBGM at 12fps but it's videos instead. I've tried restarting my phone, clearing cache/data from TH-cam, but nothing is working. I've been on a lower budget phone than this that was able to play 1080p videos, yet this phone struggles to even do just that.
I think this has happened ever since i did a software update from ColorOS 11 to ColorOS 12 but i could be wrong.
I've seen online that maybe i have to reboot my phone but I don't want to lose the data I've made on this phone. If I can't watch videos in 1080p or above, what's the point in having it available as an option? Sorry I'm just ticked off as TH-cam and Twitch are the main apps that I use

@@jay_randall sadly not. Even after the latest software updates i hoped it would get fixed, but the issue is still here and has gotten worse by stuttering for videos even at as low as 720p. You're better off finding a different phone

just bought it and its maybe the shittiest low quality phone i ever saw. its lagging everywhere and the speakers are utter bullshit.
I got a sim only deal with my energy provider. If i buy a sim only unlimited internet for 12 euro a month, i get a 100 euro oppo voucher, and i see this phone mow got a discount its no 170 euro minus the 100 its 70, should i buy this one?
Thanks for the info. Mine is coming soon. However, just needed to add... The phone no longer comes with ear phones and plug, just the cord. This will fit the plug from the previous model. So do not get rid of the plug. Here in the UK 🇬🇧

Hey JoJo, that’s odd! I bought an oppo A54s recently and it came with a case, charger block, cable and earphones, in South Africa.
I just bought this phone in Argos (UK) for £129.99 and comes with plug and earphones.
Justice bought the phone, it's seems perfect for the price.

@@conorphoto i'm only saying it cuz i had the phone for 2 years now, after the first month it gave problems, turns off by itself, opens apps by itself, starts to play music of pause my music, while im in a app it will switch windows on it self, but thats whats expected from a low-end phone

@@conorphoto and yes i'll 100% agree the battery health is one of the best features, but besides that, its not one of the best, but if your on n budget this will probably be one of the best, but i'll rather prefer samsung, i know the specs is almost the same, but samsungs software quality is much better and much faster
