To whoever reads this, I probably don’t know you and you probably don’t know me and I imagine that’s how it will always be. But this video brought us here together and I am speaking to you from the past. Whether you read this comment in 1 day or 10 years from now we shared this moment scattered through time together, listening to the relaxing ambient stormy sounds. I hope you achieve everything you want in life and I wish you a lifetime of good health and happiness.
But, wait, I thought you DID know me and I at least MET you, through Tatianna Horowitz and Tina Daunt. It was Tina's second wedding, in South Carolina, Tatianna (you always called her "Tatty") was one of the bride's maids and your sister - or was it your sister's sister? Gabriella? - was a Lady in Waiting, which was unusual for a wedding at that time but, you folks always did things a little differently and we had no reason at all whatever to disagree! Every year that we met up in Durango always resulted in fond memories, and crazy photos - I must have stacks of them, all hard copy of course, ONE of these days I will get to scanning them when I figure out "where the picture goes" after you scan it. You and Kathleen were always good at figuring out that stuff, USB hubs and thumb drives and even that dumb Dustbuster Tatianna got at the Lowe's in Ashfork. The one she tried to "return," remember, and ended up getting married? Ha ha - Anyway, I suspect you have just as many if not more from those trips, and you had a camcorder too so you no doubt have video of us on the Narrow Gauge train! From Durango to Silverton- and if was a weekend, always Cablecar Pizza and a movie next door at the Gaslight! I wonder if Cablecar Pizza is still there? I haven't been back in, geez, at least 15 or 20 years, not since Nonna died. (A wino - Nonna drank wine because she couldn't afford whiskey anymore after being fired off the Express and every newspaper west of the rockies. They finally carried her off in a straight jacket. Torry did let you know about the funeral, but you didn't come - somehow - but you and Fran were probably in Europe, you traveled a lot in those days- I only know because my favorite reading these last several years has been the society pages, about 'that distinguished couple,' the Frank Delorcas. And seeing them once in awhile! Do you remember the characters at Belladonna Germaine's funeral? 'Old California' up to their stiff necks? Ha ha! It was a family joke of course but wow how we all hated wearing black. I don't like black, I don't look well in black- but I digress). At any rate there were no hard feelings as far as missing Nonna's funeral and still aren't - heck, I would've missed it too if I didn't own the place! Seriously I've changed the selections, I've even replaced the jukebox, and that's the song it always plays, the ONLY song. People just stopped coming after that. I can't prove it, but nothing else makes sense! You remember Ed and Charmaine Wimperis? They had the tennis court in the back yard till he tore it out to put in a heated pool? Well, their theory was that after Red collected her reward money, it was as if Roy was always there somehow, awaiting her return. They may have been right, because Ed was in software back before that became a dirty word (ha ha!) and he still had a ton of old Beta tapes as well as some VHS of Red and Roy and the kids, you remember Buck and Owen? There was a girl, too- Katy? Cate? Janet? I want to say Janet but another part of me wants to say Kate, and darn it all I bet YOU know and are just holding out on us, ha ha! Well, in any case I told them they would be better off with a Bungalette as opposed to one of those huge jobs you need to buy a new car just to haul the thing. They were agreeable and did, and they got it used, from a woman in Georgia - not Georgia the U.S.-Georgia, but the one in the Soviet Union. Denise has pictures. Anyway it seemed the woman actually got it (the Bungalette) from Lee Oswald - yes, THAT Lee Oswald - and he was quite candid and courteous about the whole transaction. !!! Can you even imagine? Ed and Char said she had photos and he was strikingly handsome, of course that was late 1950's I would imagine, but he had just gotten out of the Marines and was still fit as a fiddle before he defected, and had a white smile and a very hairy chest just like a retro movie star. Denise snapped some photos of this woman's photos of him, and I have to agree. The five o'clock shadow on that man was like the icing on the cake - for that matter the cake was where we think things probably went wrong at Tina's wedding (the first one), because Tatianna ("Tatty") had it done locally by a Danish bakery that did not understand English and goodness knows what they put in it because I think the bakery thought it was for a wake, and were given instructions by the deceased's older brother to kindly place a portion of the ashes INTO the cake, not significant enough to taste or feel, it was more, I don't know, a spiritual thing I guess? So that no doubt turned off ALL the wedding guests as well as Tina's new husband, and we all know how that ended- talk about a "Bungalette," huh? Ha ha! Anyhow, I DO miss the regular emails (Dix still calls them "Electronic Letters") that you sent me BEFORE I met you through Tatianna ("Tatty") and before you knew me through Kit and/or Marie Axhelm (btw SHE is married now, to an artist in Bisbee). I sure would love to find those Durango pictures AND the instructions for the camcorder/player, or however that worked, because we have tapes, cassettes, but to me they just look like those old audio cassette tapes and Marie said no, they are videotapes, but SMALL, not like the old VHS, and they can be played out of the camera if it is plugged into the TV somehow? See that is where I think you and I got lost...
I remember in the past, I lived in a house in northern USA and we had the twenty foot talk pines that would sway like that, during the snowstorms...very realistic, very beautiful and serene.
FANTASTIC!!!!! I don't care that in two weeks it will be May. This is a 365days of the year video. Add the earphones and you can really enjoy the bursts of gusting wind. This is going in my playlist!
To anybody who's reading this, May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. when you hear music so bright and powerful all the negativity leaves your body and makes you feel amazing. May clarity replaces confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. There are a lot of languages in the world but music is the language which connects all of us. May your life be full of joy, strength, light, and ease. Whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better.
the feeling of being inside and cozy when the weather is bad is amazing. I used to be a mail carrier and was out in that shit all the time and could only dream about being on the other side of the window. Recently retired and now I am here literally and figuratively.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love how the trees are swaying with the wind, which makes it look more authentic. Most of the ambience scenes on TH-cam have the sound of howling wind with trees that aren't moving it all.

This is amazing! Sooo cozy! And I absolutely love that cabin in the back! Could you maybe do a video with a window view on a snowy village by night. With lights and maybe some people walking around? That would be also great!
How about a jacuzzi outside (Jets churning the water sound) (steam) with a fire pit or some cool way to incorporate flames against the snowy backdrop? Maybe add an owl blinking from a snowy tree with it’s head swiveling periodically?

How about a jacuzzi outside (Jets churning the water sound) (steam) with a fire pit or some cool way to incorporate flames against the snowy backdrop? Maybe add an owl blinking from a snowy tree with it’s head swiveling periodically?
