In this video I will show you how I crocheted a dog bandana. I used a medium weight (4) yarn and a 5.5mm crochet hook. This bandana is easy to customize for any dog's neck size.
I’m not too sure why or where yours is curling. It could either be a tension issue or if it curls after adding the border, you can think about adding more stitches along each side and/or using a larger hook. I hope this helps. 😊

You can always make your starting chain with a larger hook. This might help as well.
