Beautiful birds, with variegated plumage. They seem to go about their own business, without bothering any other bird. Overall they seem like peaceful creatures. Ben Franklin wanted the turkey to become our national bird.
Once I was driving home from Thanksgiving dinner at my cousin's in Mendocino. I came around a corner and saw four wild turkeys sitting on a fence, congratulating themselves for having made it through another one.
We have had six pure white turkeys in our neighborhood this year down here in SE Tennessee in addition to the rest of the flock of normal colored birds
@@veramae4098Growing up for a part of my childhood in a country town of TN, I seen them a lot. I guess I just don’t therefore think much of them because they’re so common here. I now live in Nashville, and I see them in my backyard at times.
❤❤❤❤Thank you for still producing the long version of A Moment of Nature…sad it’s chopped to < 30 sec on network broadcast.
WOW how vibrant these wild Turkeys are; never knew. Utterly amazed by their beautiful coloring
... I've always loved CBS Sunday Morning ...
... And this clip, is a prime example of why I do ... ❤ ...
Beautiful...nice camera work.
Beautiful..I used to see them in the Pennsylvania mountains. My father
used to call them!!
They haven’t a care in the world! Beautiful.
Beautiful birds who have a right to live.
Beautiful!!
Beautiful!! No wonder Benjamin Franklin wanted to make Turkeys the National Bird.
Thank you so much and have a wonderful Thanksgiving ❤️
They are neat !!! 🦃🦃🦃🦃
So beautiful, yet so tasty too!

I can see now why Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird instead of the bald eagle.

As it should be...
Just like ancient trex they are
Leave them turkeys alone!

This makes me homesick
Benjamin Franklin proposed the turkey as our national bird.
We had Wild Turkeys in West Virginia, they are mean.😮
Great looking feathers...I hope they keep them after they killed ...mmmmmm!!!!!😊
Beautiful right next to the mash taters.
I'm guessing that this was filmed in Cades Cove.
Benjamin Franklin didn't have Bald Eagles on his Plantation- Otherwise...
Utterly gorgeous - more good reasons to be vegetarian
Stop #killing them
So glad they picked the Bald Eagle rather than the Turkey for our National bird! 🦃 🦅 Just give a different vibe! 😉👍🏼🇺🇸
This is beautiful but I don’t think these are WILD in nature, wild turkeys???
Yes, they're wild.
Y’all really made a video on wild TN turkeys? 😂
They always end CBS Sunday Morning with a nature clip
I've never seen grey/white turkeys before, Michigan.
