I’m glad I’m not the only one that falls asleep to TT, mainly because I need some background noise to fall asleep. I figure that my extra “views” help TT, so we both benefit.
This made me chuckle! People always l9oked at me fuuny when i was telling them TT is best for imsomnia 😂 i can now see i am a member of a bigger club 😊
Yip, the warm cuddle of a familiar family and charming content not only brings me joy but also soothes my soul back to sleep, especilly when i was post partum with #3
I discovered TT back in 2018 or so due to insomnia. It didn't put me to sleep, but it was very soothing. I have a hard time rewatching them now because I miss Mick and Victor and the others who are gone; seeing them again is sad.
Thank you for an amazing nap ❤ I do love watching your episodes in general. They are amazing. But a favorite part of my life some years ago was coming home. Curling up in bed. Putting on time team and having the best nap ever. Your show is Magical in many ways.
I actually have a playlist of timeteam episodes I use to sleep for a while. But not because it’s not exciting. A couple of years ago, both of my roommates were gone for a couple of weeks and it was the first time I’d been alone in years. So I felt incredibly lonely. So I turned on time team to have the sound of talking, and so I could distract myself with some lovely archaeology. Now the sound of scraping trowels and Tony giving Stewart and John crap about not finding anything helps put me to sleep all the time. 😂
Good thing they had the noisy meal episode at the start 😄. I've listened to this show for years when I fall asleep, but the commercial break drumbeats (which I really love!!!) have been disruptive while trying to sleep. It feels wrong to have them removed here, but it's more conducive to sleeping.❤ This compilation is "a keeper"!
The mill segment put me to sleep in less than 10 minutes, as was my hope. My doctor has warned me to stay away from the harder stuff, such as News from Lake Wobegon and David Butler.
Yeah… I’m in this club. I can’t believe y’all just made a playlist for us!😅 Like others said, it’s a combination of the reassuring, wonderful voices and the fact that i have dreams about what they’re talking about! I re-watch, though, to make sure i actually get all the episode!!
I sould sat mills aren't often dug because there isn't much excitement in them. There won't be ant answers to be garnered from them since they didn't change for hundreds of years.
My understanding is that “corn” was just generic for grain, and what we mean by corn in the U.S. is often called “maize” in Europe, not just in Spanish. Does anyone have more info on that?
The first history channel that admits we fall asleep watching them 😂
Yep, that’s me. For years now. And if I can’t sleep I just watch episodes over and over and over again.
same here...
Agree!
Me as well because TT is the ultimate comfort food media for me. A steady safe intelligent world.
me too!!
,e too!
I feel so outed 😳
Literally 😂
You got me. I fall asleep to Time Team almost every night. Thanks for the upload!
if I need a nap, I put time team on and he lulls me to sleep. I didn't realise I wasn't the only one.
I thought I was the only one 😭 I put it on almost every single night to fall asleep
Me too! But it's only because I have watched them over and over until I almost know the script by heart. Lovecall episodes❤
Joining my voice to the chorus of others for whom Time Team is a lullaby! 😊
He just has such a friendly voice, I'll dream that Baldrick is telling me interesting stories. I love falling asleep to history documentaries.
lol i have a cunning plan
I fall asleep the same way. Thought I was the only one
Me too! I'll even listen to ones I've heard before to ease me into slumber. Thought I was the only one too.

Yup. Time Team is responsible for my healthy sleep habits. ❤

The level of awareness required to do this is 👌
I enjoy tony's voice. I've even put on his 5 hour tracks video to sleep when I was having insomnia
Me too!!
Love this series. Took me so long to appreciate them. Even though Ive just found them, they feel like old friends. Cant get enough of the videos
Mmmmm , I watch time team to fall asleep all the time. Funny how I’m not the only one ! 🥱 😴 💤

I’ve been watching these to sleep to for a while now. During the day I go back and re-watch tho lol
Incredible title, hahah! Of course the truth is that Time Team really is the best comfort TV...
so comforting to listen to❤
Hooray! I thought I was the only one who goes to sleep to the sounds of Time Team with Tony Robinson, would love full episodes though.
Thank you for an amazing nap ❤

Couldn't agree more!
How did they know I watch Time Team while (whilst for the UK folks) falling asleep.

Hey, I know this title is a joke but... Can you make the full digs into a playlist like this, please? 😅
Yes that’s me too love time team but always fall asleep and have done for years😂
You know your fans better than anyone else 😆
"Grit in the grain. Upsale! "Enriched with Essential minerals!"
It’s all about the upsell 😂
Ha, I fall asleep to TT most nights already.
I have watched time team for years now to relax. It's not a boring show.....I sleep because I'm relaxed.
It’s just so soothing to listen to as I honk shoo
Yep time team on night night 😌💕
I can’t believe we have such a community. I rely on Time Team to sleep properly.
The mill segment put me to sleep in less than 10 minutes, as was my hope. My doctor has warned me to stay away from the harder stuff, such as News from Lake Wobegon and David Butler.
It’s my nightly routine, I have tried other shows and always come back. I love the subject matter
i play Time Team at night to sleep, Tony's voice is soothing to me even as Baldrik
Bizarrely perfect for soothing my mind after a panic attack. Thank you.

This is my jam all night! How you did this? Yes! Thank you
How did they know I listen to TT to go to sleep 😅

Darn, y'all caught me
You mean, I’m not the only one?! 😴🛌
Always funny to see scientists eat earth.😁
Now that you mention. Maybe that’s where science and I grew apart...
Can also recommend Digging for Britain
How’d you know? Lol 😂
I wonder how you know that people like me watch your videos to sleep

I could never have been and archeologist. I struggle to draw stick figures.
😍😍😍😍😍

1:05 grinding corn in medieval times? Bruv, corn didn’t exist in Europe until the Columbian Exchange… 🤨
My understanding is that “corn” was just generic for grain, and what we mean by corn in the U.S. is often called “maize” in Europe, not just in Spanish. Does anyone have more info on that?
Corn is as early as old or Anglo Saxon English at least according to Oxford Dictionary
Yes they are talking about wheat which was called corn, and still is.
What is Doom's Day? Is it a book?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domesday_Book
Why is it bad quality?
Because it was broadcast in 2007. TV was a much ‘lower resolution’ then, so that’s what’s available.
Prior to the digital switchover which started in 2008.
@@Cooper_42 hmmmmm it must have been my internet, it was way jenkier than their oldest episodes, hence my question.
How did you know? 🫣
It's 4 am, insomnia here... and that. I might go back to bed.
