Fun Fact: The HR-D3 Was Originally Gonna Be King Dedede’s Robot In The Beta Version Of Kirby’s Adventure Wii. After Being Scrapped They Decided To Use It As Phase 2 Of The Metal General EX Boss Fight.
In Kirby mass attack they reused the HR-D3 for King dedede’s boss fight in a Subgame Called; Kirby Quest.

I like to think the actual Robo dedede in RtDL was broken because of a workplace accident. So you fight the Halcandran version of it instead of the one from the GameCube trailer

Roar of dedede honestly sounds like it was made with halacandra in mind, it has very similar hammering sounds as the map theme and crowned.

​@@benlewis5136 Out of all the Dedede themes it probably fits the most. I wouldn't call it a "lore drop" for though. They already made it somewhat apparent beforehand that D3 still has some connection to Dedede despite never being used by him.
