For such a complex Caravan / RV Trailer this Guy does the best Info Video ever posted on YT, It's a lot of info to absorb but he explains it so well, And what an awesome Trailer, WTG and thanks for posting this video.
This is the best Airstream by far. It's open for plan is perfect. I only had one issue. Why not pocket doors for the main bedroom? I would want a tad more privacy. The curtain is great for bunk bed area.I could live full time in this well equipped Airstream.❤ Bravo.👏👏 Well done to everyone at Airstream!🎉
There is definitely room for pocket doors which they have standard on the 33FB front bedroom Classic however, every once counts and this is designed to be a lightweight trailer.
Great video. Airstream needs to combine this format into a Super C Motorhome.
👍👍💯🇺🇸
I’m looking for land right now for a base camp and this one might be up my alley. See you when I have a base.
Sounds like a plan! We are having a home-brew RV Show Sales Event on Feb 16th & 17th. If you are from the area, come see all the Basecamps we have, for yourself.
I like this unit and floor plan but considering custom ordering the office unit. I don’t like the vista windows on awning side. I’d prefer to have the vista windows above the sofa bench on the roadside. This would allow light to enter when having the window shades closed due to close neighbors at a campsite. The storage cabinets would be above the dining area like the 28’Flying Cloud. It’s never made sense to me to have the vista windows under cover when the awning is out. I know many people don’t put their awnings out much but it’s the first thing I do once setting up, which makes the windows unnecessary.
Those porthole windows don’t open in either bunk. It’s disappointing that there is no airflow through the bunks but downright scary that there is no fire escape when you are talking about putting four kids in there. This is especially true when you consider that the kitchen is right outside the bunks. This is a huge oversight on airstreams part in my opinion.
This is really upsetting. My wife and I were looking to buy this model but I won’t put grandkids in a camper that doesn’t have fire escapes in the sleeping area. Is there any fix for this colonial airstream? This seems really unsafe.
Your opinion is important and I hope this additional information is of value to you. The trailer is built to RVIA safety standards and complies with egress standards. Some RV owners many feel that windows that open in a kids space to be unsafe with the potential for falling out or perpetrators coming in. The trailer has an emergency exit 4' from the bunk beds in a very accessible location and it was pointed out in the video. There is also proper ventilation with two ceiling vent fans within 3' of the bunk beds. Just like at home, it is always important to walk through the trailer with guests and show them the emergency exits and fire extinguisher location.
Nice rig and very informative video, I would prefer it with the larger single bed however.
the door shouldn't block a window when you have it allthe way back
Can you put jack stands under an Airstream?
@@colonialairstream Would that be the L shaped sub-frame the axles are bolted to or the rear Jack spots pointed to with arrow stickers?
Someone please call the dealership to let him know he left stove gas on!!! I hope we see more reviews from him. :)
I check no twin bed on the website.
Check again, please. We have 5 twin bed models in our inventory for this exact model.
All that msrp and there are travel trailers at half the cost that come with auto leveling.
No tip outs? Personally, I would never buy an RV that did not have tip outs.
I haven't seen RV tip outs used much in a long time. Many RVs have slide outs.
Ugly looking outside.. it looks like it has dents all over it
I just LUV this Flying Cloud 🩶 🩶🩶 I don't see how THIS LAYOUT could possibly be improved!!!
Very happy to see that this and the office model are now available with the twin beds. Awesome!
Yes they are!
