Awww I loved this video because the players were polite, no smack talk and cussing. Very pure and two people just having some fun not taking it too seriously. These two (+Lowko of course) put a big smile on my face.

i mean by all means, atleast they've been extremly friendly to each other and seemed to have fun, so i guess a lot of pro players could learn from that

Hey, I don't even play SC (my videocard do not manage to run it more than 15 fps), and I still think I'm better. But this game is hilarious and lovely, though
You should cast more low-level games. HuskyStarCraft (Old SC TH-camr) had a series called "Bronze League Heroes" and it was great. He'd cast a bronze level game and it would be hilarious.

It's very difficult to find matches that are actually decent, so instead of limiting myself to Bronze League I'm casting all levels of play. I think it's a far better option, that way every viewer has a chance to get casted and we only get to see the very best matches. Often times we get replays that are labeled as "incredibly uber epic match" where it's two players sitting back for 30 minutes and then they clash once with Battlecruisers and Carriers. It's not particularly interesting until the last minute. I would love to do more Bronze League, it's just tricky to find solid games to cast.
You literally don't need to inform Lowko of who Husky is, or what BLH is; he knows and probably has known longer than you. He gets hundreds of people telling him this every week. Each one thinks they're the first geniuses to think of it.

Whenever I'm playing SC2 and making mistakes in my match I hear Lowko's voice, "MY MAN, MY MAN" it never fails to bring a smile. Thanks for all you do Lowko, you're great.

At 12:21 ProbeRush! Finally. A single immortal would have been nice. Well, wasn't expecting brilliance from either player after all those zerglings went back to the overmind.
Couldnt the zerg near the end have picked up some drones with an overlord from his contained base and expanded elsewhere. Like just to be safe in case that push into the towers failed he had 3k resources to continue to build.
This is probably one of the saddest but most entertaining cannon rushes I've watched. As a Protoss player I am ashamed but also laughing a lot watching this XD

I laughed so hard at your commentary, I died and went to Protoss heaven with those probes.
I love matches like these we were all little tiny nooblets at one point or another and watching these videos kind of reminds you where you came from and all the stupid stuff you tried and how much fun it was learning to play a new game I'm sure in a couple of years or couple months these guys will look back on these games and just shake their heads at how new they were to the game

Funny, for me it was the reverse... When I first played coop I was teamed with a Stukov, as you know, LOTS of creep spread. I ended up asking him where I was supposed to build my base with all that creep and he laughed at me xD

The best moment was when he closed the gateway for... a reason.
I think Draken was playing fifty layers of mind game. He cancelled those roaches so that he doesn't reveal that he's got a roach warren
also, tbh, this game actually showed some serious skill (in terms of mind games). I'd say it's actually a great way to cannon rush. If the zerg didn't have that hidden gold, he would have been contained on base until the rest of eternity

wow, from the one and only. that's why I was a bit surprised when you decided to morph those bannelings lol (great game, if I were in your position, I would have gone for mass burrowed ultralisks and just burrow them at your opponent's front door. and then enjoy the imagined dumb-stricken face of your opponent when your ultras suddenly wreck him)
Duan William I would have loved to do that too, but the moment my zergling morphed into banelings to attack those zealots, my secret base was exposed. So I would not have had enough time to get ultras. I thought at that moment that I should attack his base 1st when he warped in his small army to attack my gold base. Nice tip though. I might try that next time 😁😁 Thx.
And I didn't really think about it in the heat of the moment.... 😅😅

I think the Protoss guy doesn't think the Zergs have a second base, and just intends to set up rows of unpassable cannons until DrakenBlaze surrenders from frustration.
I'm pretty incompetent at the game, but even I feel like part of my soul is dying here.

The double pylon was a trick for lower level SC1 players a long time ago. It was used when placing pylons in a dangerous spot you wouldn't lose function of all of those building if one of them died. Then it turned out to be overkill so most people stopped doing it

Good choice of game, Lowko ! It is not always just about skill, sometimes what makes a very good to watch game is the back-and-forth, the clash of 2 equally matched players fighting it out as best as they can.
I am absolutely sure that, as some veterans cringe at the mistakes of newer players, in the same way some pro players would cringe while looking at the "veterans" play. In the end, everybody has fun in their own leagues, fighting other players of approximately same skill level.
This cast is comedy gold!!!
Zerg not sneaking out a drone when his exp was attacked was painful to watch.
It would be great if you could add something additional in the viewer matches titles (like husky's "bronze league heroes" series). I love the viewer comment series but if you are in a mood for one of them you have to play several seconds of each video to see if its a viewer match, pro match or one of your personal strategies instead of picking it just by the title. Great content as usual though!

A few weeks ago I played a 2v2 against someone who hasn't played for like 5 years.
The first thing that zerg build were 2 extractors.
And then many spine crawlers.
And of course "404 expansion not found".
I feel like every single time lowko's laughing at newbie players for building 234729348 cannons in a cannon rush, it ends up being totally worth it because opponent always decides to try and destroy them head-on :D
Non-professional games are always more fun to watch I think.
I once played a 2v2 where my teammate called me a noob for ignoring the cannons and expanding around them. I told him to watch this video
honestly at this level of play there is a reason to leave your warp gates as gateways, you can queue up units, which is just set it and forget it

Honestly while not a good cannon rush in terms of cannon rushes due to creep, he had better early follow up imo. Most low tier rushes involve the player doing nothing but cannons. Period. This guy built gateways, followed the cannons up with an aggressive gateway. He could have easily transitioned that into a massive army advantage
I'm guessing that "wp" from Draken at 2:38 was intended to give GrAdOs a false sense of security. It seems to have worked.

After watching some of these low tier rankeds I was thinking why not go a ranked if these are the actual silver and lower players. My 1st placement match was vs a plat1... Nice matchmaking.
It was placement. So it matches you with really good players, really badplayers and mediocore one.
See, this. THIS is why I started playing Starcraft 2. Where can I find opponents like this who just want to have fun and try wierd stuff that should never work?

Whenever I see a cannon rush like this, I like to get a creep tumor with my first queen, and block off as much as I can with creep, while I build as normally as I can.

I wonder why he did this one? honestly this all seemed pretty standard for a inexperienced, for fun, match. not to mention i dont think ive seen lowko cast any, well, non competitive/low skill games. I'm not complaining, i love the shenanigans of inexperienced players because it reminds me of when i play with my friends.

This may not be how you do a canon rush but actualy mixing in some harass from warped in units was a fairly effective strategy. Well at the start at least. Loosing his main base so easily was dumb.
Could have dropped the pylon and cannon behind the mineral line against zerg

Draken got loads of resources from expanding at that gold line. He could have gone Air easily and attack Grados while he was too busy minding the cannons
I don't play the game myself, so this is probably a stupid question but, isn't it wiser to target fire at the pylons to get the cannons powered down instead of attacking cannons that can fire back at you?

Here is a tip for any one going up against a cannon rush target the pylons yes they have 100 more combine HP but kill all pylons neutralize all buildings
lol, toss walking away with his army at 12:59, the exact second he lost the game for sure. If he had gone all in against the zerg hatchery he might have been able to clean up the base and win the fight with the help of his cannons and shield battery

So being a new player I gotta ask, what are you supposed to do in that situation? At least if the Protoss player was able to block you off before you get a second base. should you try to rush roaches? upgrade overlords to carry a drone over and make another base? wait even longer to morph roaches into ravagers and snipe pylons?
if your completely and utterly contained like that with no visible means of escape. Unless the protoss is really dumb you have probably lost. Protoss can establish map control and will likely have a decently sized army at your door in a minute or 2.
Oh side note Ravagers are an excellent method to take down the pylons and cannons if you want to make a go of it.
