i wondered where tf he went whole vibe is off without him honestly. I both very much like tycho and steve but it is NOT the same, Jt just has that legit pro announcer voice/way of speakin. Steve tries and tycho is like cartoonish lol. both great but not the same imo i miss jt

ehn, they're not that weak in this current edition, they're just rather middling, about C or B-tier, compared to the Custodes' obvious A-tier. Both armies didn't have what they needed for their full potential anyway, orks needed more ap and custodes would have been better with some sisters of silence flamer squads, perhaps.
The red on the Custodes was a nice change of pace. One can only take so much gold.
You could try Shadow keepers,

I was feeling pretty down today. When I saw this episode featured Tanya and James, I got genuinely happy.

I love how Custodes fighting is just unsustainable for the imperium agaisnt almost every other faction.
Fantastic game, Tanya and James are always a joy to watch! Tanya's turn two rolls were on fire; all those sixes!
I think all of the Play On Tabletop players have great personality and chemistry throughout their respective matches, and I think this match between James and Tanya had a really cool atmosphere to it. Thanks for the great content!
Audible’s recording of “Infinite and the Divine” also the “Twice Dead King” set is some of the best Necron literature out there.

Loving watching your videos. Games are always entertaining and the cinematography and work that goes into your terrain really sets this series apart from most battle reports.
Just for future games with your custodes! Telemons get to re-roll wounds when shooting at a vehicle with the beam version of the iccarus storm cannon!

I feel like Orks would be pretty good against Necrons but the Custodians were just too tanky weren't they? Also, the Custodian models look fabulous with all the hoods and the reddish armour they got going on.
Pretty easy to be good against Necrons. Our codex was pretty okay at best from my eyes, mostly cause I knew the creep was gonna be real.

I like to think that when Gazkhul heard about Ole' Bale Eye had passed away, he gatherd up his mob and went straight to Holy Terra and picked a fight with the Custodes to show his appreciation, crashing their funeral, and condolences for their loss.

What a nutty game, custodes came back hard after turn 2.
This was a hard match to watch since I have both armys and both players are great to watch.
I love how not a single shot did anything the first turn, melee is all that truly matters anyway

the shokka was always great... but it was best back in the days of the dark millenium expansion... yeah, there were tables to roll from, but the effects could be amazing...
same with a lot of old ork-tek. (smasha gun, lifta droppa, traktor cannon etc, they were all fun.)
