Why did they call her character Elizabeth Thatcher in this interview? After she married her late husband, Jack she was Elizabeth Thornton. We just got done with S11. I believe the Lucas, Nathan, Elizabeth love triangle is finally over! 😂 ❤ 😊

Team Lucas. If i may... Lucas' character isn't perfect, but he is a good guy, at least one who is esteeming to be. He's untraditional, and the attentions he throws Elizabeth way are, in my opinion, more precious than with Nathan. Lucas liked Elizabeth from day one, which was cute and out-of-turn. If coupled, they would have a more interesting life - she wouldnt have the same life she did with Jack, or even Nathan. She could do with change; i think its important as Elizabeth grew she was willing to move past the immortalized image of Jack, to find her way - and what is that new way? Lucas is imperfect, and Elizabeth is a stickler for being a good girl, that has a curious ring to it, and i would want to watch a show more tailored in that angle. Conversely, with dating or marrying a mountie there is a greater chance of heartbreak with a fate like Jack. Nathan is a lawman above a wife-keeper, unless he's Jack, which makes it unoriginal, seeing its Jack version 2. If Elizabeth does go with Nathan it would seem like she's only attracted to Nathan because she sees Jack. Then again, maybe she likes mounties... Just thoughts... team Lucas for me!
Actually Nathan is a man that loves Elizabeth more than his career. 😂 He did offer to quit the mounties for Elizabeth in S8. Jack was the man married to his job first. He was married to Elizabeth second! 😂 though I love both Jack and Nathan! ❤ 😊

Melinda I am not homophobic. I don’t think the character fits him. He came from a series that was wholesome, family oriented with values and morals. I am allowed my opinion. Personally, I don’t agree with the gay lifestyle, keep it private. I don’t announce that I am straight.
