Although this audio allegedly from Washington concert, i suspect it is indeed rehearsals. Dave`s vocals are just too clean and smooth and almost like on the record. Also, my theory based on the fact that Suffer Well - another song which appears on clips from Washington concert is 100 % sourced from 2005 New York rehearsal

The 2005-12-09 Washington D.C. footage uses rehearsal audio of "Suffer Well", and this audio of "Precious" sounds too good to be truly live (particularly when comparing against e.g. 2 days later at 2005-12-11 KROQ Almost Acoustic), so it is also most likely sourced from a rehearsal performance. It happens to also be exclusive to this release, it was not included on any promo release that I know of, nor was it included on the "Complete Depeche Mode" iTunes box set. A lossless version of this audio, although with crowd noise overlaid for a "live" feel since it is sourced from promotional live singles, is available on the Depeche Mode Live Wiki. Video footage is also available there.
