Love your tutorial. I've been using iMovie for over 10 years however it's now time to get a bit more creative. Trying to decide what to use next to get past iMovie limitations. Filmora looks quite good, and a logical next step up. I was thinking either Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve however they both seem way to advanced and involved. How does Filmora stack up against those, what would you suggest?
Your explanation is easy to understand and is on point. The only thing confused me is audio section. When I right click and detach the audio I didn’t see a new panel on the right as you showed. Is it because I use free version?
Hi There, very good tutorial, but I still do not understand the function of the B-roll. If you want to show that, why not include in the original video. Could you elaborate?
This is it. This is the tutorial you want for version 13 of the program. I viewed two (2) other Filmora 13 tutorial videos in TH-cam this morning. By Primal Video (too busy, cursor movement will make your head spin and more like a rushed demo of all the features than a tutorial) and by Teacher's Tech (uses specialize words not understandable by a beginner eg. chroma, green screens, masks... huh??). These two other videos are helpful... but not as good as this video. The only thing that could make this better is if it showed a short demo of the end product. Then it'll be like ordering food in a restaurant ie showing the end product or a picture of the food is more helpful than high fallutin Frenchy sounding menu items.
Excellent tutorial. I watched a video from a couple who went on safari. The video starts out with them riding in a jeep and the word SAFARI was behind them. Do you know if it's possible to create this effect with Filmora?
When I saved my project and came back to continue editing; it asked me to click on a compilation of files and I click on the first one thinking that I had only done one project and when the video opened; the previous videos that were part of that video; where not there. So, I wonder if I should have selected all the video files since they were all part of that save video. Help??
I am on my forth edit very humbling but i am learning and getting faster. my biggest problem is when I export the finished video, it goes into the bowels of my computer. At first i thought i had lost them, but they surfaced under User\Acer\AppData\Roaming\wondershare\wondershare Filmora\output. No really! My laptop is new bought purposely for editing. I am not ready to let loose these videos on my channel until I am satisfied with the quality. Is there a tech support for the software? Thanks Humbling pulling out my what's left of my hair
I used Filmora to create a slideshow using pictures we took while on vacation. Some of the pictures were taken in the portrait mode. In this mode, there are black empty spaces on each side of the picture on my slideshow. Is it possible to eliminate or beautify these empty spaces?
I have been editing DVD-converted home movies and saved each as a project. However, I cannot import multiple project files to combine into one. You show multiple files in your folder that easily import...why won't my project files?
Thank you, and...i am a beginner and made the mistake to update to 13...totally overwhlemed and even though i didn't do anything unusual, now my title text is illegible as it goes from right to left...I can't find any way to make typing go the regular way...can you help with that?...I can no longer add text to my titles...unless i were using arabic...like instead of Hello it shows up olleH😧

best video
I'm an old man in his mid 80's, you have made what is to me a complicated app into something I can readily absorb, thank you
I am 75 and was thinking the same as you. I hope this video works for me too.
Just finished your video. You are a born teacher. Clear, concise and understandable. Thank you.
Great job! A good video tutorial for beginners..
Just the best tutorial on Filmora that I have come across . HIGHLY RECCOMENDED

You made it look simple. Thanks.
Will there be a reuse problem when using stock video clips or not? Because many creators also use it. And how many seconds should a clip be used?

Happy to finally recognize someone. Was using Adobe products but too expensive for hobby. Bought Filmora 13 and thanks for sharing.
any way we can see the final project? I'm curious to see what you did with it!
Excellent video!

Thank you. I'll be sure to add the final results in my upcoming video editing tutorials

Thank you for this. What a great starter video for Filmora. Excellent. Easy to follow along. Clear and concise explanations for a beginner
Could you explain what steps you took to create the folder on your project? It may be obvious to others but not to me. Thanks.
Also could you make a video on how to do voice over on filmora without using expensive microphones?
Can I use filmora stock media videos and musics to edit my TH-cam channel videos, or will I run into copyright issues?
Thank you so much for the editing tips. You made it so easy which I thought before was complicated!
Great tutorial for beginners. Thank you!

You're good! Thank you for uploading this.
Thankyou very much for an excellent, comprehensive, well ordered tutorial. Very useful and much appreciated.
Well explained, straight to the point. Thanks!
great explanation👍, well done bro.

Actually had to downgrade back the the version before this.. It was soo glitchy.. Thought my machine was powerful apparently not.. You're lucky!
Can I not actually create a video in Filmora like Loom, for example? I thought this was a feature so I could screen share, etc.
I have been editing DVD-converted home movies and saved each as a project. However, I cannot import multiple project files to combine into one. You show multiple files in your folder that easily import...why won't my project files?
I think several more watches before I get it all, however great video thank you.
