That is one fantastic banjo! I met Bob when he brought that banjo to TN for the setup by Kyle Smith. I got to pick on it for just a short but but the tone of that banjo will absolutely raise the hair on your neck when you hear it in person!
Bob, the owner of this fine instrument, is a really great guy. One of those people you consider a friend very shortly after meeting.

Bryan Looney I agree. I was able to play the banjo as well. It has a tone that you will remember for a lifetime. I hope to get to see Bob and play it again soon.

Thanks. It is a special banjo. I really like the videos you have posted of yours. Especially of Justin George and Charlie Cushman.

I have played that banjo a few times. The owner, Bob, came for a visit and he played my RB75 and my RB 4 while I played his 5. It is outstanding: very easy to finger and the notes explode from it.

Of course Jim is great as always, but who is that fantastic fiddle player with him. Wow

Robin18us that’s Nathan Aldridge. Formerly of the group Sideline, Nathan is now the fiddle player for Russell Moore and IIIRD Tyme Out.
