How did you color the days of the month? Was there bleed?

Do you mean the numbers for each day? Those are circle number stickers I found on Amazon! They fit pretty well, not exact, but I was very happy with how they looked. I’ll see if I can find them to link!

I’M A paper planner. I have an idea of what I want to get my son through (only 1 ~ he’s 9) but we are SO BUSY during the week that I HAVE TO HAVE AN IDEA of what needs to be done but also be flexible enough to make it easy on the both of us. Tuesdays & Thursdays (& Saturdays) are our crazy daisy days … add in that he does hockey (totally claim that as his P.E. LOL 😂) 4 days a week ~ 2 different leagues, 1 league he’s solidly a goalie, the other is a regular hockey player. He thrives on the busy. Momma? Not so much, but having my planners help! Yes. PLANNERS!!! My regular every day planner, my homeschool planner, & then a “to do” list for the day/week planner I keep in my bag. They often overlap on the to do’s or the things we do each week, but it’s the best thing to keep us on track. I have a “book list, games list, & to do list” for the month. & fill out the weekly plan on the weekends for that next week. If we didn’t get to something on Friday (partially a ‘catch up day’) then it goes on. Monday the next week. Tuesdays & Thursdays are our VERY light days (though, Tuesdays he does the things he can do by himself while I’m at the food pantry working & then he’s off for the rest of the day once he’s done with those) & Monday/Wednesdays/Fridays are the heavier school days. It is the only way I have found it to work for our schedule. Part of the reason we homeschool year round. It takes a lot of the pressure off to do “EVERYTHING AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE” at least for us. Once something is done (not necessarily in order or on the day that we are on), I highlight it in something other than yellow which allows my brain to know that that has already been done, & go to the next thing we need to do. The weekly “plan” is more like a list of things we need to do & once they are all done, we can have the rest of the week off.

Doesn’t it feel so great to have a system that works for you?? If I had multiple planners, I’d forget to check them 😆 Going digital feels like a thing I SHOULD like, but I have to stick with paper as well. Writing it out helps it all make sense in my head. Thanks for watching!
