17 years of depression and I hear " I say yes to life". I'm fucking crying. something so obvious but rarely said. It feels good to hear it outloud.
I was getting choked up watching that, never thought Bobby Lee would give me that reaction. But he is wrong about not being talented, he is a genius comedian.

I just started watching CAPE and I found it very inspirational. Yes, they're all asian, but this message is not for just asians, it's for everyone. Its a life story, a life lesson on youtube. I think this is the most inspirational video on CAPE and even anywhere. Bobby Lee seems like a crazy, immature, irresponsible guy on set but behind the scenes, he is a smart, talented, mature, strong person. Before anything, he was a just normal kid. He had to go through rough times to get through his life. Now he is telling his story. Teaching everyone, every race how to be happy and successful in the near future. Not everything is easy, not everything is nice, if you know you can get through anything, you will be on your way to a new life. A good one. Thanks for reading and I hope you get inspired by this video. :D

I watch this at least twice a month. This is very inspiring especially to an asian american with asian parents who don’t support my dreams as an actor. “If your parents say no, then tell them you’ll have to do it without their approval.” Parents are supposed to support your dreams not bring you down, but If you have a dream, you have to pursue it with all you can and never look back. Don’t listen to the doubters and go get your dreams.

Omg these interviews are so amazing. Sometimes Asian parents can be really harsh. I remember when I was young my mother ripped up all my portfolio pictures! She wasnt supportive at all.
Bobby nailed it. Margaret Cho paved the way. I was 19 years old and my girlfriend and I went to a comedy club on Melrose. She was there and It really hit me. I never saw any asian comedians doing stand up. She talked about how excited to have the first Asian American show coming soon, All American girl.. I think back I remember endless old school kung fu, joy luck club, news anchors. Lucy lui and that's it I forgot. .Anyways I'm proud of how far we've come in America. Thanks for the laughs Bobby.

I didn't expect his message to be so deep. I found this to be one of the most inspiring and powerful CAPE videos because it really shows that parents, regardless of cultural and socioeconomic background, will support you if you show how committed and dedicated you are in accomplishing your desires and goals.
