I can’t say enough how much I relate to the lyrics about attention and distraction-and perhaps the slightest dash of vanity that stems from a place of doubt. Despite the mellowness, I can’t help but feel slightly hopeful. Yes there are still problems and yes the world is rotting quickly and imposter syndrome IS very real, but nevertheless you keep creating, we keep creating. And it’s like you said! Being lost in art is better than being lost in substance or death. I apologize if I’m misinterpreting this song, after all I don’t have the same life experiences as you, but I hope my words are somewhat true.
