I’m 44 years old and disabled and get sick often and on a fixed income from the government so I can’t afford high end cosmetics like these from Ulta. I normally shop at Dollar General, Walmart or Big Lots or Walgreens. My favorite brands are Wet n Wild and L.A. Colors. Very affordable and works well for me. I don’t have the energy to do a full face most days but I do use a lot of concealer to cover up acne and use a green color concealer to help take out the redness. Then I use a regular concealer over it then put the foundation and pressed powder on and maybe some bronzer on. I do occasionally use blush and mascara and I do use an brown eyebrow pencil. I have to buy more eyeshadow because my palettes are old. Great video Taylor!

Have you ever tried Tatcha The Serum Stick? It’s perfect for hydrating the under eye area without putting a cream or more concealer on. I am 46 so have some fine lines and it basically erases them. I usually put it on at the beginning of doing my makeup and then put concealer on top. I also think it fixes any dry concealer. I love it and have gone through two full sticks already! Also I use Revlon Colorstay Concealer.

I have the R&R sunscreen and I like it, but you do have to shake it before applying. I just apply to my fingers and then on my face and neck. That powder was very interesting! I have been applying cream blush and then powder blush on top and it wears well and looks great. Thanks 😊

I highly recommend Doll 10’s pink powder. It’s extremely finely milled, and has a beautiful blurring effect. Doll 10 has a lot of really good products, including their brushes.
I’m not a big Colourpop fan. Their eyeshadows are pretty put they don’t last on my eyes and after a month the shadows don’t work as well. I’m a profusion cosmetics fan.
I used to use velcro rollers every day.. my technique was to use light hair spray on the section, then put the rollers in, then hit with the blow dryer on low speed, let cool and then remove and a light spray again if u want 😊😊
Do not sleep on the darkest shade of the new maybelline lifter gloss colors (Taffy). Looks intimidating in the package but is a gorg pinky plum when applied.💜 I'll have to give the Joah BB cream another try as I believe I tried it a year ago & was unimpressed (comparing to Purito). Also, some CVS carries Joah so use those extra bucks! 🤑
I got the R&R on Angie’s rec as well and I think you just have to shake it up really well because mine isn’t quite as difficult to use - can def put on my fingers to apply and doesn’t dry down quickly. But you made it work!
Taylor, you have to try the Loreal Age Perfect mascara, it's SO GOOD!! It gives some drama in the best way. No clumps just good volume and length in one coat😊

Adding to the comments about the R & R.. yeah, the one you have has definitely separated! I apply it directly to my face and it stays put until I blend it in. Then it has a nice moisturizing appearance. As someone else mentioned Angie Hot and Flashy uses it and if you watch her apply it you’ll see how different it is!

I'm obsessed with the LM Caviar Sticks, but I hate spending $36 on something I mainly use as an eyeshadow base (like in the case with the Vanilla one). But I recently discovered the Sephora Colorful Waterproof Eyeshadow & Eyeliner Multi-Stick in Café au lait, and it's just as good! One disclaimer is to not go in too hard on the first application, bc it's a very soft formula and it will break.

Hey I think you might a counterfeit version of the R&r sunscreen or maybe expired, mine is a serum but much thicker does not run down my hands or face , I ordered mine from ulta.
I love Tresluce !!! Their eyeliners are bomb and their cream blush formula is so similar to that bronzer texture it sounds like so I find best application of their blush formula is like a duo fiber angled brush which honestly I find that the best brush is the Tresluce brand angled duo fiber so check that brush out and I’m sure u have something similar but I loveeeee their blush formula now that I know how to use it and the shades are amazing the online photos do them no justice lol and so affordable
Yep I travel to Denver for work and the dryness is unreal. My eye lids also get scaly and my eye BALLS get super red and irritated. Always have nose bleeds out there too. I live in humid Florida so when I’m out in Denver, I’m basically a shriveled up, flaky version of myself 😆
For a surprising setting spray hydrating... try Thayers spray alcohol free with witch Hazel/rose/aloe It's not meant specifically as a setting spray, but it does work. And the aloe/hazel makes skin feel hydrated, rose smell lovely

I love the joah BB cream! I bought it from CVS when I was on vacation in Tennessee and fell in love with it, I live in Michigan and we don’t have any CVS pharmacies, so I went crazy on joah products!
Not saying you need to at all, but would you ever be interested on getting facial treatments (microdermabrasion, laser, etc) and bring us along on the journey? I’ve been thinking about getting these myself, but you’re the only person I’d trust with testing it out.

in the world of eyeshadow bases have you ever used the mac paint pots? the matte ones are the best bases I’ve tried. I use groundwork which is a perfect cool brown. best applies with your finger! not drugstore but another option

I just got the Joah concealer that you used in this video. I couldn't figure out the twist top even though I've used that before with Maybelline. Eventually I figured out that you have to twist it and wait a few seconds for product to come out. I have deeper skin so the second to last concealer shade was a little light for me ao I put it in the corner of my eye and another darker concealer shade on the other side odlf my eye and blend it with a brush. It is thin I feel. I have to put a good color corrector under it. Also, I have to set it with powder. I just use the Elf HD translucent powder to set it because when I didn't the first time I wore the concealer I saw so many lines under my eye. I agree that it's not the best concealer that they have. The Wand Me up one is better but it also needs to be set with powder. I like that Lifter Gloss on you. I think I'll get it. Thanks for the video!😊
Love the shade of the new Lifter Gloss. As for mascara, I've recently been using the Maybelline Sky High as a last step. It has a good lash separator and unclumps the volumizer mascara that I apply first.
I love the R&R sunscreen. I’m not sure if you got a dud because mine is no where near that watery. I pour it right onto my fingers and spread it that way.

Taylor pick up the L'Oreal gloss in a balm in the shade 80 sublime magenta. It's the same color as the Maybelline lifter gloss but a lot more glossy❤

I’m typically not a comment person but i do watch all your videos. The Essence highlighter, as a self proclaimed highlight queen, this was a game changer for me and i’ve never looked back, although my highlight drawer is screaming for not suing it i keep going back or mixing it with others!
Kelly Starck still uses colourpop and i would recommend trying out their stuff. She always influences me to buy their stuff - you should try a full face

Have you considered doing a makeover depending on the year? Eg: 1920s makeover?

I love the joah BB cream! I bought it from CVS when I was on vacation in Tennessee and fell in love with it, I live in Michigan and we don’t have any CVS pharmacies, so I went crazy on joah products!

Not saying you need to at all, but would you ever be interested on getting facial treatments (microdermabrasion, laser, etc) and bring us along on the journey? I’ve been thinking about getting these myself, but you’re the only person I’d trust with testing it out.
Try shaking up the sun serum more before use if you didn't shake it already. The one I had was only very liquidy if I didn't shake it. 🙂

I have never had an issue with the R&R feeing dry or drying down quickly or matte. It always has a nice sheen for me. Maybe a bad bottle?
@@annemariecronen9096 same! It’s actually pretty dewey for me but works well with all my makeup products. This has to be a bad batch. I love this sunscreen.
in the world of eyeshadow bases have you ever used the mac paint pots? the matte ones are the best bases I’ve tried. I use groundwork which is a perfect cool brown. best applies with your finger! not drugstore but another option

I just got the Joah concealer that you used in this video. I couldn't figure out the twist top even though I've used that before with Maybelline. Eventually I figured out that you have to twist it and wait a few seconds for product to come out. I have deeper skin so the second to last concealer shade was a little light for me ao I put it in the corner of my eye and another darker concealer shade on the other side odlf my eye and blend it with a brush. It is thin I feel. I have to put a good color corrector under it. Also, I have to set it with powder. I just use the Elf HD translucent powder to set it because when I didn't the first time I wore the concealer I saw so many lines under my eye. I agree that it's not the best concealer that they have. The Wand Me up one is better but it also needs to be set with powder. I like that Lifter Gloss on you. I think I'll get it. Thanks for the video!😊

As for mascara, I've recently been using the Maybelline Sky High as a last step. It has a good lash separator and unclumps the volumizer mascara that I apply first.

I love the R&R sunscreen. I’m not sure if you got a dud because mine is no where near that watery. I pour it right onto my fingers and spread it that way.
