Olá, Dorivaldo! Lajes de Betão maciço (concreto armado, no Brasil), têm seu carregamento distribuído uniformemente sobre os apoios (vigas ou paredes), e por essa razão as vigas de alma cheia são as mais indicadas. É possível utilizar uma viga treliçada para receber uma laje de betão maciço, mas a solução pode não ser econômica, devido a necessidade de se dimensionar as barras para momentos, como se faz em uma viga de Viereendel.
