It's so funny cause EVERYBODY was roasting the Knicks for spending so much money to get him. people were saying that might had a good playoff run on dallas but he's a mid player lol and Knicks are just on a long run looking for a good PG. Turns out he was the guy. Worth EVERY penny

He is the best point guard the Knicks have ever had. What I love about Brunson is he looks deceiving. Doesn’t look athletic, he isn’t tall for a point guard, looks slow and not agile. It seems like he is overlooked by his opponents, which is why he has been so successful, and even if they begin to focus on him, it is too late. He is always steps ahead of everyone. He should’ve been selected to the All Star game but again the league underestimates him. Not me and the Knicks fans. He is our All Star for sure!

Cuban is generally a very smart guy, but he and his GMs have made very questionable contract decisions over the past 20+ years. Instead of paying Steve Nash a fair (but not too sizable) contract, he ended up overpaying a slew of overpaid stiff centers during Dirk's. He wasted Dirk's post championship seasons, even though Dirk took a huge pay cut to allow more salary cap flexibility. The one center he should have signed to a big contract (Tyson Chandler, who helped win the 2011 championship), he decided to let go for nothing in free agency. He decided not to offer JB a very reasonable $55 million rookie extension that JB was eager to sign for unknown reasons.

Brunson dad obviously coached him being a former player but Jay Wright created sooooo many great players and the one thing you’ll notice beside the toughness is the basketball IQ. Knowing not to take a bad shot and waste a possession, just pass it. Playing proper defense and working as a unit.
