Thank you very much for the comment! It has come so so far and it's because of people like you. One view at a time has lead me to where I am.. I'm definitely blessed
Sweet man! I needed to know where I could get cheap foam. Going to ship some to a friend in Michigan from my home state of ohio.. Thanks for the video!
hey love the shrimp mate the shrimp starter pack is a sick idea i havent seen many black shrimp like that here in Australia but i would love to own a heap.
LupDiesel Mate if our customs allow it ill be first on that order mate. im looking in the future to go catch some wild fresh water shrimp from up north over here love the vids mate
Rhys's Pets if it's your first time you will keep shrimp choose hardy shrimp (breed more often, easyer and are cheaper) like the neocardia species. Fireredshrimp are the cheapest I guess.
I have a question sir, are crystal red/black shrimp a good shrimp too keep when it comes to hardiness, and/or breeding?? And I subscribed to your AMAZING channel from Aquarium co-op kelp up the GREAT work
thank you for the sub my friend! And CRS/CBS are extremely hard as far as buffered water goes. If your ph is less than 7, I would say they will do fine.
sigh.....with the ice/sleet/snow and such a long drive home i bailed after Ingo's presentation, got my blurry video/shots up on my channel...really sorry i missed u man(if u went?)
I've never had any luck with OEBTs, i love them loads but they always seem to die. Though the fancy tigers appear to be hard as nails, even when everything else in the tank died, my two fancy tigers survived!
The biggest things with tigers is inert substrate and partially hard water. Anything less than 7 ph is bad unless we are talking about tangerine tigers
Yeah true, hey did ok just with cherries, but the others i bought started breeding in the tank with the taiwanbees, but then i had a tank crash and lost them all. The new fancy tigers are doing great in the blue bolt mixed tank, thanks to crossing them with snow whites. Amazing colours on them too.
If you double bag the Breather bags use a wet paper towel in between the two layers to help the bags of plastic not to touch each other and oxygen to flow..
Thank you my friend :) much appreciate!! Soon as the babies grow up, the shrimp will all be back in stock! This past year took a hit on the shrimp room for sure
i have a few questions: do you think that shipping shrimp without any plant matter from aquarium A to aquarium B would reduce unwanted hitchhikers like snail or planaria? why are breather bags superior to double bag with added oxygen? they are not made from any special material otherwise their price would be astronomical. their main argument is that it prevents stress caused by sloshing. wouldn't this be beneficial if we all know that breaking the surface tension of water enhances gas exchange? did anyone produce any numbers and actually measured dissolved oxygen content in breather bags vs "normal" bags with added oxygen?
Yes, i think that no plant matter reduces the amount of pests transferred drastically. Breather bags are better because they take up less room. They also eliminate sloshing which is bad because of stress like you said. Shrimp are sensitive in nature and when stressed they instantly molt which results in the death. One death in shipping can kill all the shrimp. And no, I do not think they did any research or at least I have not seen it. If you do find one, please let me know. I'd love to read it
I dont want to tell you what to do but It seems like you would have less problems if you bought better bigger breather bags and a slightly bigger box unless you like it that snug lol. wish I could get some of your shrimp but Australian customs are a pain (for a reason)
Never ever feel bad for giving your opinion. I need it and it helps me. Thank you for being honest. I'm trying to use up all the bags that I bought from before. Next order I am getting a lot bigger of bags for sure. The box is tough because I'd have to make more sizes for shipping insulation. Which I could do, it just takes more time
Awesome, i am actually unpacking them right now!!!!
nice
Steenfott Aquatics you gonna do an unboxing video?
Yup, it will come out Saturday morning.
That's cool!
I hope they arrived well!!
What brand of breather bags do you recommend now?
Awesome video! Steenfott is gonna be siked! Im enjoying the video as i freak out inside thinking about the indian almond leaves in my tanks!
Thank you for the comment! Bob is a great guy, I hope he really enjoys them!
Great video, thanks for sharing. Your business has come a long way from when you first started to upload. Keep up the great content :)
Thank you very much for the comment! It has come so so far and it's because of people like you. One view at a time has lead me to where I am.. I'm definitely blessed
have you ever have you packages survive in negative degrees? whats the survival %? please let me know I am starting to ship out fish too
Sweet man! I needed to know where I could get cheap foam. Going to ship some to a friend in Michigan from my home state of ohio.. Thanks for the video!
Rob how do you ship now? Do you still use breather bags?
How do they survive without a heat pack in 20* weather? Wouldn't the water freeze?
I never offer DOA guarantee because I dont sell shrimp :D
hey love the shrimp mate the shrimp starter pack is a sick idea i havent seen many black shrimp like that here in Australia but i would love to own a heap.
Thank you! I'm looking forward to coming to Australia at some point. Maybe I'll bring some with me :)
LupDiesel Mate if our customs allow it ill be first on that order mate. im looking in the future to go catch some wild fresh water shrimp from up north over here love the vids mate

hahaha nais camera failures, really loved this one and I learned something new (as always). Thanks!
I like the "that should work" camera falls down immediately after lol
What type of shrimp will do well and look nice in a 5 gallons planted tank that don't cost much
Rhys's Pets if it's your first time you will keep shrimp choose hardy shrimp (breed more often, easyer and are cheaper) like the neocardia species. Fireredshrimp are the cheapest I guess.
Thx for the advice
Cherry shrimp are always the cheapest option and only cost $2 each. They are one of the cheapest shrimp out there
Where can I get live animal stickers for my box's ??

No need to add paper towel - he is doing it correctly. I ship the same way as him and for the same reasons he gave...
i was talking mainly about fish forgott to mention that in the orignal comment....trying to type on a iphone is not the best
You just got another order today it would have been bigger had you had some yellow or orange neos though.
Thank you my friend :) much appreciate!! Soon as the babies grow up, the shrimp will all be back in stock! This past year took a hit on the shrimp room for sure
