we live in a society where the ultimate goal of life is to provide heir to the family. why girl child is not preferred? because she will not bring heir to the family she is born in( blame patriarchy). therefore everyone here everyone wants a son. and God forbid if that son is gay!! god help him then. he will be treated like a pile of dirt. firstly after being bullied in school and college and at work, he will be called names by his own family and physical threats are a whole other ball game. THUS, BOYS ARE ONLY PREFERRED IF THEY GIVE THE "HEIR" TO THE FAMILY OR ELSE A SON IS JUST A VICIOUS INSECT WHICH HAS NO RIGHT TO BE ALIVE AND MUST BE SQUASHED. but again, we just can't blame the society completely altogether. the society is this way because of centuries of conditioning about supposed "moral" sexual behavior. so i think we have just embarked upon a long and grueling journey to bring about a change in society. we will get their someday, but what i dread the most is that i will not be alive to see that change if i survive till old age and i am 25 yrs old right now.

Nothing good can happen till BJP holds power till 2024. Only if Congress can manage to win 2024 elections, some good can happen. Otherwise its almost a lost case. And the tremendously increasing Muslim Population can also have a negative impact amongst LGBT people. If all legal rights are not awarded till 2030-2035, it will be almost impossible to do it later on.
